The jubilee season 2010-2011 is open at the Bukovel ski resort!
The official opening of the Bukovel resort took place on 04.12. 2010. My friends and I decided to go on exploration on 05.12 on Sunday. And so, the skis are ready, sticks under the arm, hat, mask... Now the weather. There were rumors that it would be +5, +6 for the weekend. Of course, we were not upset, as we had to ride in the rain before. But still I wanted a pleasant experience!
Luckily the weather was as good as ever. Clear skies, soft sun and a complete lack of wind and precipitation!
We went to Bukovel by car. There were no traffic jams at the entrance. Parking place is our Bukovel. The lower station of the 5th was lifted without problems near the fifth lift. There are no queues at the box office, 2-3 people at the box office. Especially those who were in Bukovel for the New Year will understand!
Put on shoes, prepared mentally. Let's go to the first ski start this year!

So let's get to the main point. Namely, I will write a short report about the state of the resort on 05.12.
Working lifts: 2R, 2.5, 12.17.
Running routes:
* 5V - in good condition.
* 12A - some ice at the beginning. Grass at the end. In general, you can drive.
* 11D, 11E - pleased the most! Snow condition is good. Ice in places. There are few people.
* 2A - not many people. Compared to other trails, most people are under a thin layer of snow.
Queues: few everywhere. There are very few people at 17 in the afternoon.
Of course, such a situation with queues is observed so far only now. Every day there are more and more people. So, lovers of skiing better take advantage of the moment and enjoy the real freedom of movement on the slopes!
For beginners, we recommend: track 5B and lifts 5 and 17.
Anyone who is not indifferent to winter sports, namely skiing, can safely go to the opening of their personal season and finally, for a whole year, satisfy the desire to ride on the snowy slopes of the Carpathian Mountains!
