We (me, wife and 6 year old child) lived in the Big Dipper - 2 times (in February and December 2008)
. The hosts, Anna and Fedor, are nice people. When for the second time on the way to Dragobrat from Ternopil we had a problem with the car (taxi), we contacted Anya, and she took an active part in solving the problem.
The hotel is private, small, cottage type, with 12 rooms. Wooden-log, inside - renovation. Everything is in this style. The room is very decent.
It doesn't make much sense to describe the room, since it's the only one there, above the sauna. It is inconvenient that you need to go to the dining room and bar through the open air about 15 meters, but the number is 2 times larger than usual.
The sauna is very good (150 per hour).
Dining room and bar interior.
The rates are as follows.
December, January, March are peak months. Our room cost 40 ye per day per person. Anya takes half from the child. That is, in December, for three of us, it cost 100 ye a day.

February - low season (because in February there is usually snow everywhere) - the price was 35 cu, per room - 90 cu per day.
From December 28th to January 20th (15th? ) - 60 ye per day.
Money can also be given in hryvnias at the exchange rate of the hosts.
It's not cheap, you can find it cheaper, but we didn't risk it the second time, and we didn't change the hotel.

Nutrition.

Dinner. Consists of the first, second (with meat in any form) and tea.
Breakfasts are more tasty, but less nutritious (without meat). That is, pancakes, cheesecakes, potato pancakes and the like. Plus tea and a sandwich. The sandwich is especially delightful. On a piece of bread, you can freely place both cheese and sausage, and there is still room left.
Dinners are hearty, but without raisins. Portion size… I didn't have enough. And the wife and son usually ate their clean.
From communication with other guests, we found out that our food is normal (for Dragobrat). There are places that are worse.
The second time, breakfasts became more satisfying (dumplings, scrambled eggs with sausages, and more portions), and in general, the food was a little tastier and noticeably more plentiful. Perhaps because they knew that there was food in the room))).
