We visited Dragobrat in February 2009. As it turned out, all the mountains that we have seen before are hills. Dragobrat - these are crazy landscapes and views (and no matter where you look), a world quite cut off from the rest of the world, a sea of ​ ​ snow, fir trees and mountains, a stunning height, a view of Hoverla, a changeable climate (from the dazzling sun to the pitch white of a snow storm) , modest but sufficient infrastructure. The resort is not for those who are spoiled, but for those who are looking for relaxation for the soul and testing for the body. Yes, there is no glamor and parties, but we don’t need this on vacation - we went to take a break from the big city. I saw five cars on the busiest day. Mountains: Stack 1700 m. and Gendarme - higher.
We lived in the Zorepad Hotel. Hot water, heating - round the clock, food plentiful and quite tolerable, wooden interior, advanced shower, some kind of TV - who needs it? Prices are low (200 UAH per day per person with two meals a day). There are two drawbacks: the high audibility of what is happening in neighboring rooms and the resulting stench from the sewer. The same problems are encountered in rooms for 1500 UAH. in Bukovel (I know for sure). In the reviews, the administrator Andrey was terribly insulted - we are against these spiteful critics. Yes, the feeling that you are served by a person of noble blood sometimes arose, but we did not feel any rudeness or disrespect, let alone rudeness (apparently how it comes back to haunt... ). An impressive climb from the village of Yasinya to the mountain itself: this pleasure cost us 180 UAH. - car "Patriot", driven by Vasya and a lot of fun from the winter rally through the mountains, with a real sense of danger and extreme! There are cheaper options: UAZ, Niva, and a truck with chains on wheels. The climb is really difficult - the incompetent ones could not overcome it on the Audi Q7 either...
Lifts: Top of the Carpathians - 950 m. , Dragobrat 1000m. and 1200 m. plus some training. BUT: the descent options are just immeasurable !! ! If you wish, you will not go down even once in a week. You can go down sharply, or through the mega virgin land, or along the ridge, or through the forest between dusks, there is also the so-called "pipe" - a chute for skiing. I am an inexperienced skier, but the combination of beauty, service, skiing and price did not cause me any complaints. THANK YOU!! ! Price for a single lift from 10 UAH. on an adult lift, there are subscriptions: maximum 50 lifts for 250 UAH. Uniform rental from 50 UAH. in the hotel (you need to drag them to the hill) up to 80 directly on the lift. Rising on one yoke and descending to another, you can explore all the colorful mountain trails and routes. For photographers - paradise.
