This weekend (November 19.2011) my friends and I decided to have a rest in Yaremche. By train we got to Ivono-Frankivsk, where we were immediately met by a local taxi. We decided to choose a place to live. The taxi driver offered us to stay at Galina's Estate, arguing that he has been taking people to it for many years and everyone is satisfied with the conditions and prices. When we arrived at the estate, the first thing that alerted us was the unfriendly attitude of the hostess, Pani Galina. She behaved on a show-off, saying that there were no places right away. Then, under the guise of pity, she says that she will find us a couple of rooms. We initially wanted to rent a cottage, she immediately said that this was not for you, she wanted 1800 UAH. Then she showed another 4-seater, wanted 600 UAH for it. . We went into it: the conditions are terrible, cold, gray, gloomy - everything looks like Baba Yaga's lair (by the way, the hostess looks like her). We refused, saying that the conditions do not match the price. In response, she said, they say, go to the Hoverla hotel nearby and see what crazy prices it has. We decided to go, especially since it is a hundred meters from her. We were shown double rooms in Hoverla: leather sofas, a comfortable bedroom, all the amenities and for only 300 UAH. . We ended up calling a taxi. The taxi driver was asked if he knows where you can rent an inexpensive cottage with all amenities. He called someone and took us to see everything. We were offered an excellent, 2-storey, wooden cottage with 4 bedrooms, a sauna, a kitchen (with dishes, a kettle, a gas stove), with a normal bathroom, satellite TV and ONLY 300 UAH. per day from the cottage. Later, traveling around the sights of Yaremche, we were told about this "PANI Galina", what a swindler she is, how she breeds people, and so on. etc. . Basically, I don't want ANYONE to go to her. LOOK FOR!! ! After all, there are a lot of cool cottages and rooms with FAVORABLE PRICES nearby!
