We rested in the sanatorium "Solnechny" from 06/09/15 to 06/12/15. We arrived by train and previously agreed on a transfer from Svalyava. We were met at the train car, brought and settled, despite the fact that our train arrived at 8 am. So we had time to have breakfast.
The sanatorium started operating in 2007 and has recently changed its owner and now has a new manager. While we were there, we were constantly finishing and improving something. I think the hotel will change for the better (competition is high).
I really liked the location, behind the old building of "Sunny Transcarpathia", on a common territory with it, on the edge of the forest. The rooms are quiet, the walls are brick and you can’t hear the neighbors, it’s far from the highway and cars don’t drive under the windows. Under the windows there are no restaurants and shops. And bypass the old building and right there the pump room and all the benefits of civilization (bazaar).

Our room was standard. The room is spacious with a normal renovation and good furniture (orthopedic mattress). In the hallway there is a locker and a refrigerator. Large bathroom. Hot water was all the time. Mineral water is not supplied to the rooms. Hairdryer, electric kettle, cups, glasses, water jug, shampoo, soap, shower gel, everything was there. What I liked was the heated towel rail in the bathroom, which is constantly heated by solar panels and the towels are always dry and slightly warm. There is also a dryer on the balcony. There was no air conditioning in the room yet (only the pipes were brought out under it, maybe they will put it later). At that time it was + 30 outside, but the heat was not particularly felt, I think due to the proximity of the forest and the location of the hotel, and the nights are still cool. I asked at the reception, they say they don’t get hot in August either.
The elevator is also not working. We lived on the 3rd floor, and it was not difficult for us to run up the stairs, but for those who have problems, just discuss this issue right away. As well as in the room and in the hotel itself it was very clean, you can walk barefoot along the corridor and around the room. Cleaned up every day.
The pool is small but was cleaned every morning while we were there. The pool is heated, with us the water temperature was +25. Swimming and sunbathing. There are no umbrellas by the pool, but they were not particularly needed, since the pool is on the edge of the forest and the shade from the trees.
Nutrition can be described as - well, not what - a diet. All the same, the hotel is positioned as a medical institution, respectively, and the food is dietary (not fatty, not very salty, not at all spicy). The portions are not large, I ate enough, but a healthy man will obviously not be enough. And for young ladies who want to lose weight, that's it. There are plenty of restaurants around and you can catch up with barbecue and bograch. For breakfast, some kind of porridge and something dessert (pancakes, dumplings, a casserole (the cottage cheese casserole was just a bomb), sausage or cheese, tea. For lunch, a side dish with fish or meat, some kind of salad, fruit and tea (compote) For dinner, a side dish with something fish or meat, kefir, cookies and tea. In the morning I prefer a cup of coffee, so I bought it at the bar at the reception (7 UAH. ) I advise you to take a room only with breakfast, pay for the complex on the first day, and if if you don’t like it, then every hotel has a restaurant and there is something to choose. While here they didn’t work out with the “restaurant”, the spoons of the fork are not ground before serving, the waitresses often confuse which order, the level of the dining room, and not the restaurant.

Wifi is very fast downstairs in the lobby. In the room, the signal is slightly worse, but I took it to the tablet everywhere in the room (selectively to the smartphone).
From the hotel there is a path to the forest (called health path) along it you can climb to the top of the mountain and go to the observation deck, go slowly uphill for about 40 minutes.
Our package (standard) included a visit to the doctor. Sanatorium books are written out at the reception and sent to the doctor for a consultation. We were assigned several procedures, but everything is optional, if you don't want to, don't go. For example, I really liked the underwater massage, but it has a lot of contraindications, and my husband, for example, was prescribed only a circulation shower, the approach to choosing procedures is individual. If you do not bother much with food, then everything else is very worthy.
