My family went to the Carpathians for the winter holidays. We wanted to go skiing. We stayed at the Slavsky Perlin Karpat hotel. The road from the highway to Slavske 22 km goes almost off-road - everything is broken and potholes. The car shakes in all directions. There are almost no roads in the village either - as after the bombing.
Nice hotel with excellent cuisine, located at the entrance to the village, with its rather big fenced area. On the territory there is a paddock with a ram, in the summer there is a swimming pool in nature, there is also a bathhouse (we didn’t go - 1 hour 300 gr. ). You can play billiards in the lobby. That's all entertainment. If you want to go somewhere yourself - come to the reception and the young man calls for the UAZ. For 40-. . . gr. they will take you to the hill. Nearby there is Mount Politekhnik - 2 old rusty ski lifts (lift 6 and 8 gr. ), The whole mountain is in bumps, grass, there is almost no snow - brown porridge, there are no snow guns either. Nearby are aunts with carbon monoxide kebabs, samovars and vodka on wooden tables and benches. There are no cafes or mulled wines. I did not see the fences, rescuers, first-aid post, signs... The same situation in Pogar. There is a cannon there, but the yoke is also rusty and does not work every day. Little snow, skiing is scary. They did not dare to ride on Pogar.
We decided to go to the Play - everyone praised. Paid for UAZ 300 gr. for three (this is considered cheap). Drive 25 minutes along the same broken terrible road, all the guts are shaken out. Play pleased with the presence of snow, two 4-chairs, a modern tow bar, rental (had to queue for 1 hour). There is a first-aid post, Pointers, People, like in this Slavske, ride recklessly, they love to rush and knock down others, especially boarders, probably because there are mostly a lot of beginners. Playa went 1 time.

They also wanted to ride Trostyan. We stood in line for a rusty old krsklnik for 1 hour, bought a ticket - 2 lifts on a chair and 4 on runways on the mountain itself. The armchair is closed with a heavy stick - for children it’s worth thinking more... We climbed Trostyan - the tracks are terrible, with ice, there are no signs in principle, it’s not clear where the slide is. Life is more precious!
There are few cafes in Slavske, 2 huts and in the hotels themselves. They ate mostly in Perlin.
We won't go there again. If you have any questions - ask, I will be happy to answer.
