We rested for two (with my wife) in this hotel for 5 days in September 2018. We stayed in a junior suite with a balcony (good view - on the river, mountains). Initially, they wanted to get into "Kvitka Polonina" or "Suzirya", but there were no more places in "Kvitka" for these dates, and the prices in "Suzirya" (accommodation plus meals) - as for me - are prohibitively high.

After a long monitoring of nearby housing options in Solochin, we decided to stay at Eldorado - this hotel is practically adjacent to the territory of Kvitka. In terms of money, accommodation plus meals turned out to be almost two times cheaper. Briefly about the hotel: we were met without any problems from the train station in Svalyava (transfer 80-90 UAH), warmly, quickly settled in the room. The room is quite beautiful, well-groomed (there is a conder "winter-summer", a refrigerator). We arrived at lunchtime - we immediately went to a restaurant located on the territory of the hotel: the service is pleasant, but we didn’t like the first courses, therefore, in the following days we ate at the Kvitka Polonin restaurant - very tasty, from the minuses - a long service (waiters with a sour face) And not always there are free places. Breakfast was included in the cost of staying at the hotel (scrambled eggs, porridge, yogurt, cheese or sandwiches with bacon, you can eat. )).
The territory is also beautiful, the plants are well-groomed, there is a drag lift nearby, there are no problems with excursions, you can find guides in the "Kvitka" near the pump room or by pasted advertisements along the street.

We went for the new year with a group of 8 people. The hotel is normal, in summer I think better than in winter. There are problems with the Internet, and in principle they all have problems with it here, where is the normal Internet in the mountains. I had an intertelecom, I caught it normally, it helped.

Take a more expensive room, the cheapest one with a joke, a toilet immediately with a shower, you can sit on a potty and take a shower. In winter, your feet are wet when you sit on the potty, because the water from the shower is all over the bathroom and, accordingly, in the toilet)
The restaurant in El Dorado is not very good. Looks like there is no demand, and therefore they cheat, it is not tasty and not fresh. Everything was deliciously prepared for the festive table.

The food is terrible and off topic. we took complex meals three times a day, so we knew in advance that the food was dietary, we were told - yes, of course. in the morning they brought sour cream in a glass, salty sandwiches and pancakes in chocolate. rave. in the evening they basically gave everything fried, overcooked, already covered with a burnt crust. At first we were told that you can ask for food to be packed with you. then the impudent waiter said that for this meager money they are not going to "also pack for this cosmic price". The rudeness on the part of the waiter is unbelievable. I didn't have the strength to endure it. the mood disappeared for the whole day. so we gave up and switched to eating at another restaurant. stomach ache for three days since that nightmare in eldorado. people think a hundred times before going there!

The only window in the ceiling, No curtains or any protection. In the rain, we thought we would suffocate - we had to close the window, as the rain and all air access was stopped.
Houses - I love wooden houses and for this I would be ready to forgive a lot. But this was too much. We arrived with two children. It is fortunate that we ordered the last 6 house, because the previous five are forced to listen to music from the speakers of the hotel building from 10 am to 22-23 pm. All day of God. The neighbors couldn't put the children to sleep.
They built another building on the territory and it became crowded - very crowded, some kind of beehive, honestly : )
The next step is construction. We were assured that there was no construction - "Well, we are all finished, no construction. " 2 days after our arrival, a mobile concrete mixer was rolled out, and a full-scale construction began - with hammer drills, with workers, with a concrete mixer, with wires stretched throughout the yard (I remind you, we have small children)
To our: "Huh? " followed the answer - "How, repair? It can not be ! ! We stop everything !!! " Nobody, of course. did not stop and the repair lasted our entire vacation. It was very, very unpleasant and extremely inconvenient. We take children out of the city not to live in repairs
(and we pay, by the way, a lot of money for our vacation)
The biggest disappointment in all of this is the customer service. The management does not care how the client rests and with what feelings he leaves the institution.
My bottom line is: I don't recommend it.
I know that you can find wonderful vacation spots in the Carpathians without hassle and with a normal attitude.

The hotel is loudly said....Business in our opinion - for your money you get a spoiled vacation. Minimal repairs have not been done since the construction, the disgusting work of the restaurant waiters and the administration of the base. + if you speak Russian - you are a Muscovite - a separate attitude towards you.

We decided to spend the weekend outside the city, to take a break from the hustle and bustle. A pleasant discovery for us was the recreation center "Eldorado". We discovered it by driving a car 75 km from Uzhgorod, not far from the sanatorium "Kvitka Polonyny". The weather was sunny, so we left the car in the parking lot of the recreation center, went on foot to explore the local beauties.

We decided to spend the weekend outside the city, to take a break from the hustle and bustle. A pleasant discovery for us was the recreation center "Eldorado". We discovered it by driving a car 75 km from Uzhgorod, not far from the sanatorium "Kvitka Polonyny". The weather was sunny, so we left the car in the parking lot of the recreation center, went on foot to explore the local beauties. There really is something to see in the Carpathians. In the evening we returned to the cottage, where, in addition to excellent living conditions, a fireplace and a terrace with wicker furniture were a pleasant addition. It didn’t take long to decide on dinner - we went to a local restaurant where we chose dishes of European and Transcarpathian cuisine. Everything turned out to be very tasty! The next day we organized a picnic for ourselves and took a steam bath in From such a weekend in the open air and with good service, everyone got a lot of pleasure and a charge of good mood.
