were in Solotvyno in August 2012 (3 people, including a child of 5 years old). Well, what can I say. The first impression and the first word that escaped: "Horror, where I got. " All the so-called recreation centers and living conditions leave much to be desired. And especially the prices, which do not correspond to the services provided at all. You live in a barn, but you pay like for 5 * in Cyprus. The lake is dirty, locals dump various wastes, incl. and human life. We rested in "Yalinka" - we left on the third day, and then only because the money was taken from us in advance for three days. And the so-called suite for 400 UAH. per day....in short, this is not a luxury, it is an unpleasant room with amenities, in which there is not even a place to dry things. Although you yourself stand in front of the window with towels in your hands and wait until they dry.

Rooms for 120 UAH. per person generally a separate conversation. Also with amenities, but you live like in a barn, there are not even windows. There are also houses, but the conveniences are on the street... Music plays all night, though at other bases, but enough for everyone. The food is not tasty, etc.

The positive aspects are as follows: if you swim, then only in the pools of "Yalinka" (here at least they change the water directly from the mine, and the territory is cleaned), if you live, then in the private sector - several times cheaper, conditions and prices for any pocket (from 35 UAH per person up to 300 UAH for a luxurious room with a bathroom + a kitchen where you can cook) and the music is not heard everywhere.

In short, we were somewhat shocked and, as I said, three days later we left for Velyatino and met a lot of people like us there.

And yet, if you go, then in the chagy season, because in August the nights are cold and the water in the pools does not heat up. In the lakes, the water is warmer, but dirty. In addition, water from mines is not pumped into the lakes, so its quality is far from what it was many years ago.
