There was still light for 5-7 minutes, then it was turned off and I had to finish the preparations by the light of the phone. The corridors and stairwells were filled with acrid smoke from ceiling to floor. At the level of the 3rd floor, we met a fireman and it became calmer, although the head was already spinning from the smoke.
At 3:30 we watched the firefighters fighting the fire on the second floor. Frost -14C. Moreover, some guests ran out in shorts and flip flops. Thanks to the Uzhgorod ambulance doctor and the head doctor of the local hospital, everyone was sheltered until the morning.
In the morning it turned out that the heating in the hotel was broken, everything smelled of a pungent smell of burning, and in the room from the curtains to the bath towels it was covered with soot.
The demand to return the money to us was refused, because. money was collected yesterday. And they offered to stay. We refused the last proposal for obvious reasons.
After 2 weeks of daily calls, the money was not returned in full. According to the hotel, we lived a day from December 30 to December 31, because technically the fire happened on the 31st.
All other inconveniences pale in comparison with the fire extreme Intourist-Transcarpathia : )

I didn’t take cheaper rooms (120 UAH), thanks to the reviews)) but I went down to see it - it was just as warm and clean, though the furniture was tired. Bar in the lobby - God forbid every bar to be at least like this. Or are there no "girls" or problem customers in other bars? I recommend the hotel in terms of price-quality ratio
