Rest for body and soul
We arrived in Ho Chi Minh City on 09.11. 13 at 19.00, and received a visa at 21.00. Therefore, we were glad that we had a 12-20 minute drive to the hotel. We booked the Golden Central Hotel in Ho Chi Minh City for 2 days. I recommend booking excursions in advance, get cheaper. In the morning we went on an excursion to the Mekong Delta. Our guide was a Vietnamese woman who spoke Russian fluently. There is a lot of information, a lot of impressions, zero fatigue. The next day we went on a sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City, and then a transfer to the coast. But the holiday has already begun on the coast. We really liked the Swiss Village 4 * hotel, it is located in the very center of Mui Ne, there are a lot of cafes and shops nearby. The hotel has a Russian-speaking administrator (Vietnamese), if you have any questions, you can contact him, problems are solved promptly, without delay. The territory is surrounded by greenery and flowers, clean and well maintained, the staff is very friendly. We did not encounter theft, but we did not provoke either.
The rooms have a safe where you can put valuables, passports were kept at the reception. Breakfasts are quite varied: soup, 2 types of side dishes, sausages and something meat or fish, baked vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, yogurt. We had enough, so we did without lunch. And we went to dinner on Boke (walk 2 km), we really liked it - everything is delicious and much cheaper than in cafes nearby. You can bring alcohol with you, the price of beer is the same as in stores. They cook deliciously and fulfill the wishes for cooking. The locals are very friendly, smiling and very calm. We noticed that there is such a sleepy climate - all the time you want to sleep. In short, complete relaxation. We went on excursions to Dalat, Nyachang 4 islands, the Reclining Buddha and the Kega lighthouse. We took from the hotel guide company Focustrevel. All excursions were very pleasant both in organization and in conduction. I would like to note the punctuality of drivers and guides: it is said at 04-15, and exactly at 04-15 the bus at the hotel.
Small groups of 6-10 people. Most of the time is taken by the road, except for the Buddha. The speed is low, and distances of 200-250 km have to be traveled for 5-6 hours. But it's worth it.
We really liked this holiday, and especially the country. A vacation you want to repeat. If we go again, it will be to the north of the country.
