To begin with, a brief summary for those who cannot handle a lot of bukaf: we rested with my wife in the Vietnamese resort village of Mui Ne, near the city of Phan Thiet from February 28.2014 to March 10.2014. We settled in the Amaryllis hotel. The road was somewhat tired, but this is a trifle that did not affect the exceptionally positive impression of the rest. The hotel is beautiful, I recommend it to everyone! Cleanliness, quality service and not noticeable, in my opinion a good location a little away from the main resort area. The weather was beautiful, I saw clouds in the sky several times, but in general 32-35 daily. I saw literally 3 kiters in 10 days. , they could not interfere in any way in principle. The Vietnamese are extremely positive, kind and sympathetic people, although their life and way of life is significantly different from that in the resort areas. In general, as I said, the impressions are positive, the country is a must to visit! And now I will try to tell a few more details, I hope it will be useful to those who are planning a trip. . I will give prices in dollars, for the convenience of those who are not used to counting their candy wrappers, although it is better to always pay for everything in dongs because it is cheaper (rate 1 $ = 21.000 dongs). Let's start in order: Flight / transfer In my opinion, the only drawback of this trip. After a 9-10 hour flight from the airport in Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne, it takes about 6 hours by bus, which is somewhat tiring. But this is absolutely not a defining trifle, which is forgotten within 2 hours after arrival. But mentally, you need to be prepared : ). Hotel As I already wrote, we chose the hotel Amaryllis Resort 4 *. The hotel is gorgeous, it wins back its 4 * 100%! The buildings themselves (there are 3 of them 2-3-storey buildings), rooms, territory in perfect condition, cleanliness and beauty everywhere. The rooms have high-quality furniture and decoration, it is pleasant to live! Rooms are cleaned daily while everyone is on the beach. Pick up quality. . Towels and linen are changed daily. The territory is also cleaned daily, no garbage can be found on the lawns even if desired. . Although the beach is municipal (like everything in Vietnam), it is always clean due to the fact that the hotel is located 1.5 km from the resort area. Every day, the sand is leveled by a tractor, garbage and all marine life thrown ashore by the tide are removed. Upon arrival, they were given vouchers for one lunch, a massage and a cocktail. Daily bottle of drinking water per person and tea sets. Once every 2-3 days a fruit basket. The location of the hotel may seem inconvenient to some, but I see only pluses in this: a taxi to the beginning of the resort area is $ 2, to the opposite end - $ 5. A taxi is called from the reception and arrives literally within a minute (do not have time to smoke). But silence, tranquility and a clean free beach. So that there is no wrong opinion - I like outdoor activities, parties, parties, lunches / dinners in cafes / restaurants, etc. , so I was at the hotel only at night and during a seal beach holiday, and then the advantage of the hotel's location becomes obvious . Excursions Independently went to the red sand dunes. Dunes: for those who have been in the deserts, there will probably be nothing interesting, but in principle it is beautiful, mountains of red sand, on the one hand, the jungle is in the distance, on the other, the sea. Go only at sunset in order to take a picture of a romantic wife / girlfriend : ). And in general, it is interesting to visit. From the biblio-globe we took excursions to Nha Trang (for 2 days) and Dalat. Well, here you can describe for a long time. Both excursions were pleasant, go - you will not regret. . And you will see life outside the tourist zones and nature besides the beach (chic bays, bays, coral reefs, mountains, pine forests, jungles, etc. Nature is amazing in its diversity! ). Again, Winperl and shopping are much more profitable than Muynevsky! I will say about buying excursions from the operator or from local travel agencies. We were given a 10% discount on excursions, taking into account which these 2 excursions cost $ 350. Similar trips could be purchased from local travel agencies for $50-70 cheaper, but we decided not to risk the quality of the trip. The savings are not significant, but for this we got excellent Russian guides (in fact, a huge thanks to them), decent buses and good organization. After talking with those who traveled from local agencies, we realized that we did not overpay. . . although that is everyone's business. Power In the hotel, we included only breakfast. Great breakfasts with a good selection and everything is delicious. There are individuals who claim that 15-20 dishes, even though they are the same every day, are "monotony and lack of choice. " . . well, let it remain on their conscience : ). For the rest, we ate in Mui Ne, mainly in restaurants (by our standards, medium-sized cafes). We ate seafood and exotics as much as time allowed. Seafood is simply obligatory to eat, you won’t find such tasty and fresh in Russia (I’m not talking about Primorye and others like it). We went to Boke a few times. There are also a lot of rumors about it about unsanitary conditions, stench, etc. Well, let's say it's something like our street cafes, the atmosphere is as simple as possible (outdoor tables with benches or chairs). The waiters, they are the owners, they are the cooks and the rest of the servants are not in white aprons. There is a smell in places, but you can walk 50 meters to the next cafe and everything becomes in order. Didn't see rats or cockroaches. But they cook well and most importantly everything is fresh. . Caught in the morning and living in an aquarium until your order. In Mui Ne, restaurants for every taste and color, and local exotics, and European / Japanese / Indian / Russian cuisines can be found without problems. For prices: in restaurants we ate and drank moderately for an average of $ 10 per person (this is enough to fill up a normal Russian peasant and drink). In simpler cafes, prices are about 1.5-2 times lower. In Boke we ate lobster for $45, crabs for $15, other seafood, all kinds of crocodiles, frogs, sharks, rays, eels and even cheaper. But in general, the impressions are only positive! The holiday was a success and nothing overshadowed it! Vietnam is really a wonderful country for tourism and recreation, which I will definitely return to.
