Were in Mui Ne and Saigon from 17 to 30 November 2009.
Don't trust anyone that it's good there. THERE IS AWESOME!!!!
A country of fools, terrible roads and locusts from motorbikes, which actually nullify any movement around the country, 5.5 hours by taxi 200 km after a 10 hour flight - I don’t want to remember.
There is NOTHING to watch along the way, except for accidents with motorcyclists. There are no traffic lights, no one follows any rules at all - simultaneous movement at the intersection in both directions is in the order of things. And in Saigon, in the evenings, motorcyclists drive along the sidewalk.
They don't know English. Elementary things are not understood. In general, either socialism or American napalm made complete idiots out of this nation. Looking for service there even in a good hotel is UNREAL!!! ! A step away from the reception - and no one understands anything, but at the same time smiles - and does the opposite, or does nothing.

To the hardworking Thais they swim and swim - and never swim.
A sea of cheap fish and seafood, but finding a place to cook it decently is a big problem. They remembered Thai sauces - here, at best, soy sauce with a spoonful of wasabi.
Pineapples are not edible - one stalk. Mango is delicious like in Thailand. The dragon here is much larger than the Thai one and tastier (this is the only plus).
Of the 12 days at sea, all seven were talking big. Well, so the sand, shallow, warm. But the water is not clear near the shore - like in Pottai.
They never found a real Thai massage - they have a mixture of Thai stretch marks with an ordinary oil massage. And at the same time with their dirty feet on your body.
Brrrrrr...

For those who still go.
The Dynasty Resort Hotel in Mui Ne looks like nothing for 3 stars, far from the center of Mui Ne - but this is both a plus and a minus. Taxi to the center - 4.000 of their candy wrappers (1dol = 1.000) = 2.2 dollars.
Disadvantages:
1. Breakfast - none. There is simply nothing to eat, especially if you come an hour after the start.
2.
They tried to cheat with an account - check everything behind them
3. Thai massage done at the hotel turned into bruises all over my back. On the offer to return the money for such work, they said that the back was like that.
4. For a broken cup, they tried to rip off 24 dollars (you can take the whole service for yourself, it was said). I had to yell - and immediately 24 dollars turned into 3 dollars.
Massage in Mui You can't do it at Roxy Spa - there are 2 wonderful masseuses Anna and Muna.
You can eat more or less:
1. Three bears
2. Golden sand
3. HaVIEN
Grand hotel in Saigon - very beautiful, excellent breakfasts. But it is necessary to move away from the reception - they do not understand anything. Waited two hours by the pool for juice. In the bar on the 12th floor, instead of fresh juice, they brought water diluted with juice. They refused to drink. Not included in the bill.

In general, there is absolutely nothing to do in Saigon. There is nothing to see, it is impossible to cross the street - it is life-threatening.
The vaunted Vietnamese coffee turned out to be burnt for testing, and no flavors from vanilla or chocolate kill this burnt aftertaste.
Disappointed Vietnam Airlines - flying for 10 hours without an individual TV is inconvenient for those who do not sleep on the plane. Looks like the crisis hit them as well as Trans Aero, which also do not turn on TVs for long-haul flights.

Conclusion:
Better go to Thailand, and if you have more money - to Singapore. This is a fairytale!
