The hotel is located far from the center of the village, you can't reach it on foot, by taxi 4-5 dollars. metered taxi. On the first day, the TV did not work in the room, the closet door, they called the reception, they quickly fixed everything, the staff would not do it themselves, but if you ask, they immediately respond. I read reviews about the fact that they steal money from safes in the hotel, as it turned out, this is the case in many hotels, we were on excursions and heard from the guys from our bus that it’s the same in other hotels, they steal from safes. We kept the money in a suitcase under lock and key and in the evening when we left the room we left the light on in the room. I also read reviews of other tourists that when you check out from the hotel, they ask you to pay for the minibar for something that you didn’t eat / drink. The same thing happened to us, at night, when checking out from the hotel, they asked to pay for the missing cigarettes in the minibar and some kind of drink, despite the fact that we didn’t use the minibar at all and don’t smoke at all)))) They apparently have a national sport, it will give a ride / will not give a ride in order to earn extra money from tourists. Passports are taken away upon arrival, and when you check out, when you pay for everything, you rent a room, they are given back. So, at the reception they didn’t want to give up my passports, they asked me to pay for the minibar, I became indignant, as a result, only after 15 minutes they gave the passports. I told the representative of Lanta Tour Svetlana, who represents this hotel on behalf of Lanta Tour and is constantly in this hotel, so she called me greedy that I did not pay for the minibar. In general, a disgruntled girl (she also had a boring New Year's performance), apparently with them in share, I already left a lot of money in the country, did not skimp on tips, gave money to the poor just like that, did most of the purchases only to give the local population an opportunity to earn and I don’t want to be made a fool of me at night at discharge when the transfer bus is already waiting for you. The Lanta tour already took us from the hotel 11 hours before the plane's departure, to my indignation - why so early, they answered that it was for insurance, so as not to be late for the plane. But not for 11 hours! The disadvantages of the resort of Phan Thiet, Miu Ne, is that it is a 5-hour drive from the airport and all excursions are 4-5 hours one way minikm. and in this village there is nothing special to do, there is nowhere to walk. Only your hotel - and restaurants in the center. And the sea is dirty there. I liked Vietnam, I will most likely return again, but only to another resort. Food. I really liked the simple Areca restaurant from the hotel to the right across the bridge about 5 minutes on foot. Very tasty, cheap and huge portions. For example, my dinner: avocado and tuna salad, Pho soup (just overeating), huge fried fish, freshly squeezed avocado juice with ice cream cost 200 rubles. Restaurants in the center are more pretentious, the price in them is 2-2 times. 5 is more expensive and doesn't taste any better. King prawns were sold on the beach of the hotel, they cook 5 minutes right in front of you - delicious !!! . On the beach of the hotel, locals sell pearl products. I don’t know how real it is, but they check it in front of you - they scrape it with a knife and burn it with a lighter. The products are beautiful - earrings 2 dollars, beads 8 dollars. In the center is more expensive than on the beach. Also on the beach in front of the hotel (behind a brick wall), local girls offer massages, they do well, from head to toe. price 5 dollars. They make coconut oil, and then a mask and smear the body with a freshly picked leaf of aloe vera. I always did with the girl Sonya - complete relaxation to the sound of the sea and palm branches! Excursions. All excursions were taken in travel agencies on the street. On the first one is the Areca travel agency (they have a common wall with a restaurant). Guide Viet Nam - a teacher of the Russian language, speaks Russian very well, told a lot of interesting things about the country. Through them we went to Dalat, a very rich excursion, I liked it super. On the second tour we went through the Polar Bear agency opposite the hotel on the left across the road. We went to Nha Trang to the island of entertainment! I really liked the island of entertainment, I didn’t want to leave, I didn’t have enough time to ride all the attractions. Prices in travel agencies on the street are much cheaper than buying from guides in a hotel (such as Lanta Tour, Pegasus, etc. ), and they transport in huge buses for 35-40 people, until you collect everyone, take them, and wait for everyone at stops. So I advise you to buy in local agencies on the street, the quality is good, the guides speak Russian, the prices are lower, comfortable air-conditioned minibuses for 10-14 people. Even at the Polar Bear travel agency, you can buy tea, coffee, cobra and tiger ointments much cheaper than in stores where you will be brought during excursions. We bought from them the Zvezdochka-ointment))))) the first knowledge about Vietnam since childhood))). I really liked the country, the sun, the sea, the climate is very mild, a lot of seafood and fruits, mountains, lakes, dunes. People in general are all sweethearts. , sincere. friendly, never cheated, even taking into account the fact that they have a lot of zeros in the currency. 1 dollar = 20.000 dong, i. e. when you change 100 dollars, you get 2 million dong. When you see the price tag, you don’t immediately realize how much it costs, the Vietnamese are great, they suggest, they help, they always gave change correctly, they never counted, they didn’t deceive. Almost no one speaks English, so when you ask them how much it costs, they either show it on a calculator, or write numbers on a piece of paper, or simply take a bill out of their pocket and thereby show how much it costs. The Vietnamese love Russians, as the USSR helped during the war with America.
