Hotel "Ocean Star Resort" is declared as a 4 star hotel. The hotel is on the 1st line, its streets lead directly to the sea. It was 30 meters from us. I will say right away - knowledgeable people confirmed these stars. The staff (including at the reception) does not speak Russian or English.
The hotel has internet on the computer next to the reception. Few of the staff understand it, I even had to fix some failures myself. Computers are not Russified - therefore communication is only through transliteration. On the territory, as well as on the only street along the coast, there is free wi-fi.
The hotel area is very beautiful. Vietnamese hard work works wonders. The lawns are planted blade by blade, palm trees are well-groomed, everything is watered and trimmed. All day long, a whole group of attendants is engaged in cleaning and care. Walk around the territory, take pictures - it's worth it.

There are no insects - lawns and bushes are processed with something. I killed only one mosquito, in 4 days I saw three beautiful butterflies and two lizards. They turned on Fumitoks, but I think it was in vain.
The rooms are without much frills, the usual set is a TV with the only Russian channel RTR-Planet, a refrigerator, a safe, an air conditioner....Telephone communication between the rooms. Two beds. Pretty decent bathroom. You can not drink water from the tap - bottles with local mineral water are available.
In short, everything is simple and tasteful. Maybe this is not enough for someone, but I regard a hotel room as a place where you just need to sleep. I have come to the sea.
There is a decent pool, tennis courts, billiards under a canopy, sauna.
The only thing that unpleasantly surprised - some crazy prices in the hotel bar - 4 times higher than in the city. Although, in theory, it should be the other way around - the hotel guest should leave here to the maximum... You can order dinner by the pool or even on the beach - all this is easy here. Just how much will it cost. Resting. I did not know the need for money. But. . .
Meals were listed as "Breakfast Only". Breakfasts take place on a beautiful open veranda, surrounded by flowers and overlooking the sea. The very content of the breakfast is actually trite for hotels. Rice, several types of noodles, salads, sweets, juices. . . Tea, coffee. . . Fresh fruits were especially pleasing: pineapples, watermelons, a blue dragon. . . Pleasant. But the "experienced" have their own opinion. Breakfasts are rated 3 stars by a specialist. They do not yet reach the 4-star level.

The most pleasant impression of the entire vacation was left by the South China Sea. It is very reminiscent of the Mediterranean, with the only difference being that in November it is already cold in the Mediterranean. Winter. There are only two seasons - the rainy season and the dry season. And in November comes the dry season - the best time to relax. Powerful rain clouds ran along the edge of the sky, but we never got caught in the rain for the whole rest. Never. Sand. Pure white sand. And as long as in Tunisia, a sandbank - about a hundred meters from the coast. Oddly enough, during the day the sand heats up, but does not heat up like in Africa - it does not burn your legs. The water is very salty with a strong iodine smell. Very nice. And useful. The first sensation from entering the water is amazing. Warm water. In the literal sense of the word. The sea is calm in the morning and stormy in the evening. Storms are not strong - Russians bathe at least those that are !! ! At night, the excitement sometimes subsides and the Russians, having rolled on mopeds, go to get drunk on the beach with a night swim. Don't be scared if you meet someone late at night on the beach or by the pool - this is our friend. May I, without sinning, recommend "Ocean Star Resort" to you? Definitely - YES. Come - you won't regret it. The rest of the hotels are about the same level. Bravo Vietnam. Bravo Mui Ne.
