So, Vietnam is a country of contrasts, crazy, interesting, beautiful, colorful and exotic with friendly, always smiling barefoot locals. Were from November 24 to December 6.2010.
I'll start with the flight - transaero, a delay without warning of 30 minutes, they issued a blanket, the pillows were not interrogated for all 9 hours and 40 minutes. flight, take your own or at least put a jacket under your head, it is worth it to drag it with you. Although my goal was to fly as far as possible, and I knew about all the difficulties of the road, but at the end of the journey I already realized that it was sooo hard. But Vietnam is worth it, I have never regretted it, and vice versa, upon arrival there, I again wanted to get to this country again!
We flew with Inna Tour, the guides meet the Vietnamese at the airport, I repeat, they are smiling, open and friendly people. To Phan Thiet 6 hours drive at a speed of 50 km per hour. In the bus - a bottle of water, ow. a napkin and the opportunity to purchase a local SIM card from the guide and top up the account for 50.000 dong for $ 10, with Russia 52 minutes, and with Vietnam I didn’t even say all the money.

What I won’t say about the guide at the hotel, in principle, a pleasant young lady, on the first day she told everything in detail, wrote and explained (where to eat, where to go at their inflated prices, and where to go) then in 11 days I saw her 2 times by accident. And when they sent us a letter with the date of the transfer from the hotel a week earlier, we ourselves caught it for 2 days in order to clarify the situation.
It is worth getting to the hotel and fatigue disappears. The hotel is for all solid 4+, until they break the prices and are quite cheap at a decent level and service and food are very varied and tasty, and large rooms with modern plumbing. But the rooms are good only DeLuxe, the standard in the Hill side, they say, are located in the basement (I myself have not seen) and have not seen any dissatisfied either.
I read a lot about theft in the hotel, though reviews of past years, but it was somehow uncomfortable (although I purposefully went to this hotel). The guide herself raised this topic and said that there had been no precedents for a year already, but it was not worth provoking, everything was put in a safe and hidden in a suitcase under lock and key, they tried to be present during the cleaning for the first week, then they scored and everything was safe and sound.
Cleaning every day with linen change. We had a sea side building with windows on the road, I do not agree with the reviews that say that the car signal is haunting. There is not such a busy traffic, especially at night, to suffer from cars, it is quite calm, you can even hear the sound of the sea. In general, we were quite comfortable and we are very satisfied. The hotel pool is open until 9pm but after 6pm (after dark) the hotel is dead. There have never been noisy companies, despite the season.
The location of the hotel is very good, 10 min. walk from local street cafes in the direction of Mui Ne and 15 minutes to the center of civilization in the direction of Phan Thiet. In the room, on the beach, the Internet catches not bad at all, we talked with our people every day and even played with toys. From the number you can call anywhere in the world, on a Vietnamese cell for 1 minute it costs 4000 dong (6 rubles). Mini bar prices are quite reasonable. But opposite the hotel, 15 meters across the road, there are a lot of shops where you can find everything you need and even shop.

In the entire resort area, everything is very focused on Russian tourists, literally through one store, restaurant or cafe, a travel agency sign in Russian, a menu or a Russian-speaking employee. Even in street cafes the menu is in Russian. So you can easily communicate without a language, but if they don’t understand, you won’t get anything from them either in English or Russian.
Prices for everything are very cheap, many times less than ours! For example, we bought a huge suitcase right next to the hotel for $45. And for shopping, you can go to Phan Thiet to the USSR supermarket, like our Auchan, at the bottom there are food, clothes and a bunch of everything. Be sure to try the traditional Vietnamese coconut toffee, we really liked it, we stocked up there for all our relatives for 18.900 dong (about 30 rubles). Whoever has a trip with Ho Chi Minh City, there, on an excursion in the Mekong Delta, they will show you the production technology of this delicacy and can be purchased with a variety of additives, but I suspect that it is not so cheap anymore. In restaurants, dinner for two is $10-15, a lobster on the street is an average of 600 rubles, shrimp is 300 rubles.
Before the trip, also in the review, I read about the optics on the way to street cafes 5 minutes from the hotel towards Mui Ne, really good quality, service and prices. We bought glasses with diopters and sunglasses for everyone, even a child. I check my vision there, by e-mail. apparatus.
Excursions were taken on the street at a travel agency, in front of the Ralmira hotel, the manager of CHIM, they changed money from him (the highest rate is $ 1 = 21200vnd), asked for directions to the city, bought tea, Vietnamese ointments (tiger and cobradox), coffee and dealt with any problem to him, even if he was not at work, after 2 minutes. a man came from him and everything was decided, they called him for any reason. He, sending us on an excursion to Nha Trang, found out the weather every day, advised where, when to go, in general, many thanks to him, he always helped out. I recommend it to you, by the way, it was also recommended to me.

We went to Nha Trang - I think it’s worth seeing, very beautiful islands, even the 5-hour drive there is already beautiful, the cable car is impressive (and this is in Vietnam ?! ) and the stunning Vinpearl island, you forget where you are at all. We went through the oceanarium 3 times and each time we saw something new and of course the amusement park itself - water slides 50 m high, an unforgettable experience. A variety of attractions, shops, cafes and the sea, sea, sea.
Da Lat - a city in the mountains, a provincial town, beautiful mountains, waterfalls.
Dunes - we went there ourselves on a bike, and did not regret it, multi-colored sands, on the way to the dunes (50 m from the Littel Myu Ne hotel) a mountain stream - beauty!
Rent bikes everywhere, we took directly from the hotel, convenient, $ 8 until the evening or 9 until the morning. Yamaha Nouvo is very much nothing compared to Suzuki. But be very careful, it was very scary in the city.
The sea is not always calm, it’s a pleasure to jump in the waves, the main thing is to successfully enter and exit, there is always a wind on the coast. And behind the line of the beach it is not, it is calm and warm. The climate is very moderate 27-28 C, the sun was only 5-6 days, the heat without the sun was practically not felt, the heat is good. But as soon as he goes out for just an hour, we immediately burned out, the sun is very insidious, it’s not for nothing that they dress up and wear masks.
Here he is - Vietnam, I read in one review and now I myself think, so who is the developing country, we or they ???
P. s. Probably one cannot remain indifferent to Vietnam; there is no third way, either you fall in love with it or not.
