From December 7 to December 19.2016, we rested in Vietnam in the town of Mui Ne. We got into the protracted rainy season, but apparently it was for the best, it was possible to comfortably spend time on the beach. We settled in the Villa del Sol hotel - a wonderful hotel, I did not expect to see a modern spacious room at all, since in Asia there is usually something quite ordinary. All rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, a distinctive feature of our room was a view of the sea (if you do not take into account the fact that there is a pond with flowers in front of the room, and a mesh behind the pond that blocks the view) and the absence of a door to the hygiene room. However, it didn't make us sad. The breakfasts at the hotel are very tasty, there are entertainments such as darts, billiards, spa, swings =)
FOOD: We had lunch and dinner in the nearest cafes, the bill for two was usually 1000 rubles. A compliment in the form of fruit is always served at the end. Most often we were in a cafe with a wonderful tiny puppy BIBI - Roof. What you can eat delicious - ostrich, FO soup with shrimp - sooo delicious, stingray. I don’t recommend desserts at all - this is some kind of hard pornography. And of course, completely amateur. At the end of our vacation, we already wanted ordinary European cuisine, as we were fed up with local food. Although it is worth noting that the cuisine is completely diverse, both local and Russian, Thai, Chinese, European, even sausages are prepared for children.
WHAT IS NEARBY: Nearby... this is of course loudly said, but then again - we knew where we were going, in order to choose more or less "civilization" it was necessary to pass either by taxi (300-500 rubles) or by bus ( 50 rubles for two), or by hotel bus, which leaves for Phan Thiet at 9 am. It's great there, there are sights, monuments, you can walk in the parks, which absolutely amaze with their trimmed trees and shrubs. There is a cool supermarket if someone wants to buy something. There is a dirty river - colorful, but frightening. We also wandered into the local market... of course there were a lot of impressions =) I also advise. If you go to the resort part, it will take 45 minutes and 1500 rubles. (by taxi. Five of us can leave in this car) in one direction. There are many, many cafes, pharmacies, shops, bars, hotels, and in principle it would not be bad to walk there, but a little expensive.

EXCURSIONS: I will immediately indicate that for most excursions you will have to pay extra for the transfer, since our hotel is located at a great distance from everyone. We took only one tour for $126 for two - Dalat. An absolutely stunning province that the French built. This is probably the first tour that is really worth the money we pay the travel company.
CONS: Not very lucky with the weather (but you can't guess, the season starts in December, but not this time). If you go to Mui Ne, be prepared for the fact that it will be peace and solitude. The flight there is 8 hours, usually 9, then 6 hours by bus to the hotel, in the opposite direction 6 hours by bus, and 12 hours on the plane with two meals... TWICE in 12 hours. PROS: Beautiful sunsets. Delicious fruits. Excellent hotel.
