Wouldn't recommend Long Beach Phu Quock. In general, the hotel has more minuses than pluses. The hotel is very weak, pulls a maximum of 3 *.
1) SEA: The sea is very bad. The water is always murky, greenish in color. The hotel is located on Long Beach, along the entire coast of Long Beach there is bad water. We walked a couple of kilometers left / right, the water in this area is like that everywhere. In other areas of the island, the water is much better ( beach areas Ong Lang Beach, Khem Beach). The water in the sea near the Long Beach Hotel is worse than on the Odessa Black Sea coast. We spoke with the locals, they said that city drains are coming out of the Long Beach area. How true this is, I can’t say, but the water is really cloudy all the time.
1) NATURE ON THE COASTLINE: It is practically non-existent. You will not feel like you are in the tropics. The entire nearby coast is densely built up with some small hotels, each of which has its own architecture, coastal natural vegetation is very, very sparse. If you go into the sea and look at the shore, you get the impression that you are somewhere on the outskirts of the city of Odessa. . . We traveled around different parts of the island, only Long Beach has such sparse vegetation.

3) BEACH. The beach is sandy, the entry into the sea is convenient. The hotel is located right on the first line. But there are not enough sunbeds, they are really enough for all hotel guests. In addition, outsiders from other hotels on the "first line from the sea" are boldly accommodated on the hotel's beach. in front of the umbrellas on their towels. Outsiders can safely be on this beach, it is allowed. In general, the hotel seems to have its own beach, but the beach is not closed, but open. It seems that you are on a city beach.
4) FOOD. We only took breakfast. You won't be left hungry. Breakfasts are standard. But monotonous. In the restaurant where the breakfasts saw a cockroach crawling over the salad. After that, there was no desire to have breakfast here. In general, there is a real problem with quality food on the island. It is very difficult to find a place where delicious and quality food is cooked. For two weeks, nothing suitable was found in the area of the hotel. Yes, around the hotel there are a lot of some smelly eateries with complete unsanitary conditions. But there are no good places with quality cuisine in the vicinity of the hotel.
5) HOTEL ROOMS. In general, the rooms are normal, in good condition, the room has everything you need. The rooms of this hotel are the only plus of this hotel.
6) O. PUKUOK. The island is very, very dirty. We traveled all the beaches and all parts of the island. I can say that only the beaches around the Mango Bay, Green Bay, Marriott hotels can be called clean. It's just that these hotels clean the nearby area. In other parts of the island - a continuous dump of garbage along the entire coast. In fact, in some parts of the island it was not possible to reach the water from the road, as it was scary to step foot in all the mud that goes along the sea. And what are the smells.....
Tourism in Phu Quoc is just beginning to develop. There is a lot of construction going on around the island. Transport links are not developed at all. It's very difficult to get anywhere. Local taxi (car) - expensive, free buses - very, very rare. Probably once every two or three hours, I can’t say for sure, but my friends said so. You can also take a scooter, but the traffic on the roads is so frenetic and chaotic on the island that it can be very life-threatening.

In general, I do not recommend the Long Beach Hotel on the island. Phu Quoc. And the island itself is also not recommended. There are many places in the world where you can go for the same money and get much more fun. Compared with the Dominican Republic, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Vietnam is far behind them.
