At the end of the summer, in August, my wife and I somehow managed to get a vacation. And we decided to go to South Africa. Many dissuaded us, since August is the last winter month in South Africa. But we were so tired of the Moscow heat that the African coolness seemed desirable. And we did not regret anything, because in the end we were very lucky with the weather. It was about 20 degrees in Cape Town. The sun was shining. At the Cape of Good Hope, however, some fantastically strong wind was blowing, on which one could practically lie. But, as it seemed to me, without the wind it would no longer be the Cape of Good Hope. Just the guide told us that the first name of the cape was "Cape of Storms". And in such a wind it was easy to believe. It was so vividly imagined how ships were wrecked at this cape, when the captain thought that the ship had already circled the African continent, and it only fell into False Bay. In general, Cape Town is a place where so many legends were born... for example, about the flying Dutchman. All in all, a very romantic place. We stayed at the Table Bay Hotel. The hotel was not chosen by chance - it was advised to us. Our friends said that the hotel itself is excellent, but also located in the best place - on the tourist promenade, where it is so pleasant to walk and completely safe.

After Cape Town, we went to Kruger, where we had our first real safari experience. That was great. August is said to be the best month for safari. Not hot. And, since there is little vegetation, animals are clearly visible. As a fan, I have not missed a single safari. The wife on the fourth safari said that it would be time to look at the SPA, which she did with success. It seemed to me that we "got drunk" for the rest of our lives. But a strange thing... I already catch myself thinking that I want to again...

After Kruger we flew to Zambia. Just not so long ago, a direct flight Nelspruit - Livingston appeared. Very convenient, no need to fly through Johannesburg. Zambia is amazing. Animals run right around the hotels. There are giraffes and zebras and monkeys. Of course we saw animals in the Kruger. But there we were not surprised by this, because we actually came to observe the animals. And here... such a miracle.

The trip to Livingston Island impressed me the most. To stand a step away from falling water... Then we also swam in the "Devil's Hollow", as it is called here. A depression is a depression that ends with a partition of stones. And then - the flow of crazy force falls down. And you look from above at how streams of water fly down, how rainbows play. And you think... you need to remember this moment. And suddenly this will never happen again!

We ended our trip to Sun City. We lived in the most famous hotel - the Palace of the Lost City. After Zambia, it seemed that the place was too civilized. But, by the way, and from this we enjoyed. Somehow I already wanted to dress up, go out in public... In general, I recommend Sun City to everyone right after Kruger or Zambia. In contrast, impressions only intensify.
