"Children's menu" is one name. Maybe German children, who are the majority, are fine with french fries, sausages, sausages, pizzas and ketchup, but my three-year-old child does not eat such muck. Sometimes buckwheat milk soup helped out.
Now for the service in the dining room: the tablecloths are all stained, the waiters are dressed untidy, the dishes are washed poorly - and this is not a nitpick - I myself took a “clean glass”, with a lipstick imprint, and more than once.

The 1st one was overlooking a sheer wall, the side was shady, everything was damp and smoky, the 2nd one was at the end of the building, from the balcony, which you could see a piece of the sea and the same sheer wall, and only the 3rd one overlooking the sea, was more or less normal. As it turned out later, they accommodate Bulgarians in these rooms “with a view”, of course, I understand all the best for myself, but it is the tourists who bring the currency to your country and the attitude towards them should be appropriate, especially since you have 4 stars.
The rooms are reminiscent of boarding houses of the 90s: old wooden furniture, shaky beds, mold in the shower and toilet with cracks. Linen and towels are torn and grey.

The numbers are not equal. We got quite decent ones, but one room on the 4th floor overlooked the road (no heavy traffic). This room had a kitchenette with utensils and a stovetop. The second room overlooking the sea on the 5th floor was without a kitchenette, so I don’t know which one is better. The renovation at the hotel was probably a long time ago, so some complained that the drawers from the bedside tables or the closet door were broken. Tile floor. For us, the proximity of the sea is more important than renovation, so that there are no problems with sunbeds and umbrellas by the sea and by the pool, and that there are no queues in the restaurant. All these priorities of ours were met and we, satisfied, proceeded to rest. The beaches in Albena are beautiful, it can't be better. The sea was calm all 2 weeks, we could not sunbathe only one day, there was no sun. The water is the cleanest, but at the end from somewhere caused large blue jellyfish, it was a little unpleasant. The restaurant is decent, the choice of dishes is large, although some said: "But in Kaliakra... " Well, they would pay for Kaliakra, there is "ultra all inclusive" and the price is appropriate. Kaliakra is the best hotel in Albena and expensive. And we were quite satisfied with Arabella, she is nearby. Animation for children by age according to the schedule, at 12 o'clock for teenagers and adults by the pool, and in the evening concerts in Kaliakra, but we did not go. preferred to take a walk after dinner. We went to Balchik and Dobrich, we do this every year, as well as to St. Constantine's shopping arcade. The downside for me was a large number of Bulgarians with small children, because they yell terribly, just like piglets, for every reason and for no reason. Summing up our monthly stay in Bulgaria, we concluded that the calmest was the Selena-2 hotel in Sunny Beach, the most "delicious" - Orpheus in Nessebar and the most beachy, of course, Albena.

Believe me, the hotel corresponds to its 4 stars, even Turkish 5. The sea is nearby, there is plenty of everything (sunbeds, tables), the food is excellent, the staff is trying.

The bar did not spoil the view. But on weekends, obviously, the Bulgarians rested there (there are enough of them, like the Romanians in the resort; there are few Germans, unlike the "Sunny Day", there are Scandinavians). So we somehow listened to the rhythms of the Bulgarian stage until one in the morning. Tired. Closed windows did not help, while the room became stuffy, and the old-style air conditioner was noisy. Went down to reception. The nice young man explained that the bar should shut up after 24.00, but it doesn't shut up and that a little later he will call the police, usually this helps every three or four times. Really helped. After 3:00 the music stopped. During this time, all the neighbors went to the reception. The hotel is designed for families with children, so everyone has the same problems.

It works on an all-inclusive basis, located at the beginning of the complex next to Kaliakra. They settled us right away, the room turned out to be with a mini-kitchen, which did not suit us, since the space was “stealed” and with the all-inclusive system - the kitchen was superfluous. This didn’t particularly bother me, since the rooms are large, but my friend was not happy (their room went out to a mini, but the road was smoky) after calling the company in Minsk, everything was resolved perfectly and the next day we had a magnificent view of the sea and pool. The room is not small and the extra bed is not a chair, but a sofa. On the 2nd floor of the nomar with huge balconies-terraces, the rooms are completely renovated in modern style with wenge-colored furniture and already built-in air conditioning above the door.

Albena is located next to the reserve, has practically no shops, few discos. Wonderful climate, lots of greenery, probably the widest beach strip in Bulgaria. Chosen by the Germans, Scandinavians. In Albena, restaurants and cafes have rather high prices and it is still advisable to go there on a full board basis. About 5-7 years ago there was one of the best youth discos, not for youngsters, but for real student European youth, but last year I was not interested in this issue and I don’t know how things are today.
