The tour was purchased at the Yarobltur travel agency, it took a long time to decide where to go and our choice fell on Abkhazia, the PSOU boarding house.
We traveled by train from Moscow to Sochi (Sochi airport is located in Adler, and Sochi is written on tickets), flew a little more than 2 hours. From the airport we went by minibus for 150 rubles. per person, they took us to the very border. You can take a taxi, but it’s more expensive around 500 rubles, or you can use public transport, a budget option, but not convenient, it takes a lot of time, as a rule, you can’t crowd your way with suitcases, and besides, you’re lucky to the Cossack market, and from it to border on foot for about 2 km. We chose the golden mean. Because we had a lot of things, we did not take water and regretted it, at the border we stood in line under the scorching sun for 3 hours. It was certainly terrible! A bunch of people with huge bales, like in Cherkizon, and vacationers with suitcases, someone swears, someone wants to skip the line, in general, the feeling is not pleasant, of course, everything is forgotten on vacation, but it needs to be experienced. It is better to go by train, longer, but the minibus, the ride turned out to be not at all long. The boarding house is large, there are several buildings, we lived in the main building. Everything is left from Soviet times, and I think at that time it was really great there, now it's not bad either. What I fell in love with is their territory, it’s just a pleasure to walk there: palm alleys, unique subtropical ones, there are no problems with crossing the border. Yes, and the border there is only one name, some kind of disgrace, a twister as before at the checkpoint, and a shabby booth, they look at your passport, there is nothing. Having overcome the border, breathing a sigh of relief, we quickly found plants collected from all over the world, cypresses, magnolias, oleanders and the sea, the sea. The beach is clean, pebbles, sun loungers, umbrellas, everything is free, there are few people, we were at the end of September. The rooms are clean, renovated, TV, refrigerator, balcony overlooking the park and the sea. There is, of course, no service. When we arrived, there was not even toilet paper in the room, you see, they ran out of it, and we had to go to the store and buy it. Then they got paper, they brought it to us. Fortunately, there are shops, a local market, where you can buy everything you need, if anything. Inside the boarding house is an oasis, large plants, beautiful. Table tennis, rackets, and a ball we bought in a stall on the territory, billiards, a disco. The food is quite decent, and quite edible. As canteens used to be, in this spirit. In the dining room at the exit they offer to go on excursions, which is also great. There is something to see in Abkhazia, rivers, gorges, Lake Ritsa, waterfalls, New Athos cave, and much more. You will be fed barbecue, honey, drink mead, wine, ride a horse for quite reasonable money. Yes, to the money account, when we ran out of cash, in order to withdraw money from the card, we had to go back to Adler, because. there was nowhere else to take it. Without suitcases, we went with pleasure, walked from the boarding house along the seashore to the border, which no longer seemed so scary to us, bought magnets and all sorts of nonsense at the Cossack market, well, it was another adventure. Despite the minuses, there are much more pluses in Abkhazia, this wild beautiful nature, these expanses will remain in the heart forever. We liked it in Abkhazia and we will definitely return to PSOU!
