Hotel "Raida" in my opinion is not intended for recreation. Despite the fact that the hotel itself is not very bad: good repair, furniture, new appliances, a small but well-groomed area, you can’t relax in this hotel. Firstly, the location: on one side of the hotel there is a road (moreover, this is the route along which Abkhazia communicates with Russia). on the other hand, right above the hotel there is a railway along which trains (local and Russian Railways) run several times a day. On the other two sides there is a construction site for hotels (the construction is frozen but they do not decorate the landscape). In the middle of all this (in the hotel bar) crazy and almost around the clock yelling (and believe me, this is not an exaggeration) crazy music. What does it scream at, so if you close the windows, then you may not hear the TV unless you make it much louder. No conversations, negotiations, etc. can't make this music quieter. A local DJ, a boy in his 20s, considers it a matter of honor to keep the music as loud as possible. The bar-restaurant itself starts working at 19 o'clock. But the music turns on around 11 and does not turn off until 24 o'clock. The time may be childish, but given the possible time difference (we had 3 hours) and the presence of children, then staying at the hotel during this period is simply impossible. Get enough sleep, just relax in the room for an hour or two a day, sleep in the afternoon for children: IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! . And in fact, it doesn’t matter if there is a repair or not. I had to just leave the hotel and wander around the neighborhood or on the beach.
As for the food, it's not bad. calculated for all categories. you can feed the children and eat yourself. The lack of juices and the very limited amount of fruit (very strange apples and pears - small and sour, and watermelon) upsets.
But for dinner in the restaurant itself there is a very limited menu (the oven broke and it was not repaired in 10 days).

In general, if you are not deaf and not a fan of various noise effects, then I do not recommend you go there, especially with children.
And if you don’t want to be in a room and are going to the sea, I think you shouldn’t overpay, since accommodation in this hotel is not cheap by the standards of Abkhazia.
