Our family (two adults and a child) rested in the boarding house. Lakoba in August-September 2009. The holiday was simply unforgettable.
Transfer. We were met at the airport (we ordered a transfer), we were taken to the border, which we passed with a guide who carried our things, we stood at the border for about 2 hours - and this turned out to be the most unpleasant part of our journey. At the border from Abkhazia, a Gazelle was already waiting for us, in which the driver, whose name is Valiko, drove the three of us to the boarding house very calmly and without any races. They got us great. We also pre-determined the time of our departure and, again, Valiko drove us to the border in a Gazelle. Since it was evening (about 19.30), we crossed the border with a guide in 10 minutes, from where we were taken to the airport in a very comfortable air-conditioned Volkswagen minibus.
Accommodation. We were placed in a room on the sixth floor. The room was clean, the decor is from the 80s. The room was cleaned daily, the bed was changed every five days, and we were offered to change towels even more often. We each had two towels. We had three beds - one Soviet and two modern ones, which were a mattress lying on a stand with legs. We had to put the child on an old bed, which is much more comfortable than modern ones. As we were told, hot water is served from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 18.00 until late at night, however, there was always hot water during the day, which was very convenient.

Nature. The view from the loggia to the sea was simply breathtaking - the nature in the boarding house is very chic, it is not in vain that it is located in a nature reserve. Below, after the platform, various coniferous trees grow along the boarding house, and behind them is the purest transparent blue sea, which is visible to the very bottom. We have never seen such a clear sea before. And what kind of air is there - on the first day after the gassed city, our heads simply ached. In the air there was periodically the smell of some flowers, then it smelled of honey, then just like in a pine forest. You can imagine what portion of natural inhalation we received. We did not close the windows in the room and the door to the loggia at all. At night, we slept to the sound of the surf - it's just demon-like.
Nutrition. The dining room in the boarding house is located on the 13th floor and some of the tables are on the veranda overlooking the sea - it's just super, we've never seen anything like it. The food was also very tasty. All dishes are prepared quite neutrally, not harmful to any stomach. Basically, everything was either boiled or stewed, although we really like fried. Our child just came off with baking of his own production at the canteen. I would like to note the organization of the "buffet" - all the dishes were enough for everyone. If something ended, then it was immediately brought a new one. In general, we were also satisfied with the food. The disadvantages in nutrition are inedible cheap sausages and sausages made from soy protein, which cannot be taken into the mouth and the fact that in the last week of rest the assortment of breakfast dishes for five days was the same, but after contacting the administrator of the dining room Maxim, the next day Already the breakfast was more varied. From the food, we especially wanted to note the delicious first courses and delicious baked goods. Very friendly waitresses - dirty dishes were removed immediately without any requests or reminders.
Beach. You can go down to the beach on the sea by elevator or stairs, which is located a little away from the building. The beach is quite clean, cleaned it regularly. Sun loungers and beach umbrellas are free to use, we only took an umbrella. The best thing is that the beach of the boarding house is about 800 meters long and everyone rested where it was convenient for him, without interfering with each other. We calmly swam the three of us, not worrying about our things. Everyone was located where he was comfortable.
Excursions. Excursions in the boarding house are organized in a variety of places in Abkhazia. I would especially like to note the guide Alik Vladimirovich - a patriot of his country, with whose stories the excursions became very bright and memorable. With what love he talks about everything in Abkhazia. . . After what you see and hear, you fall in love with Abkhazia right away, although we have loved it for a long time.

The main disadvantage, in our opinion, is the transport isolation of the boarding house from civilization. I would like to see a fixed-route taxi periodically go there at least to the main route (traffic police post), since trips to the places we need (and not only us) can only be combined with an excursion or you can find a taxi for a decent fee.
For us, the rest in Musser was more than wonderful - the cleanest air, sea, lack of fuss, city noise - this is what we needed. We cannot wish for a better holiday. In addition, the weather did not disappoint - all days were sunny. The child could be released to run quietly along the paths, without fear that a car would jump out from somewhere. Everywhere is very clean. In addition to the dining room, you can eat in the cafe "At Mityaya" an excellent barbecue, caught and immediately smoked fish from the sea, drink coffee, which is brewed right there in the sand. Not far from the checkpoint there is a national restaurant "Apatskha", where we ate delicious shish kebab, khachapuri, smoked meat, cheese fried on fire.
I would very much like to mention the friendly and helpful staff of the boarding house, and especially the senior administrator Svetlana, who creates a friendly and warm atmosphere, the maids - Faina, Iren, Natalya, who cleaned our room every day, Ruslana on the beach, which everyone tried to please and spent the whole day repairing broken umbrellas, Alik Vladimirovich, who makes all excursions unforgettable, drivers - Edik, Valiko, Azor, with whom you feel calm and confident in the car, as well as all the others, many of whom we never met recognized by name, but they did everything for a great and relaxing holiday.
Rest in "Myusser" is an amazing holiday for those who like to relax in nature, without parties, noise, fuss, and swim in the clear sea
