This summer we rested in Pitsunda (Abkhazia). Yes, indeed, the sea is clean, nature is fascinating. The locals (if they are not Russians) are very friendly. But killed the household question. On the advice of friends, they settled in the Apsny building. The building is the largest, located at the crossroads of all roads: to the sea, to the embankment, to the pier, to the city. Near the restaurant with "live music" at midnight, the road for local racing drivers. The rooms couldn't be worse. Two beds with spring mattresses that are 30 years old, gray linen with holes. It’s scary to touch a window or a balcony door: the glass from floor to ceiling is held “on snot”. In the bathroom, the toilet tank is leaking, dampness on the floor plus the constant sound of running water, there is no lamb on the cold water tap in the washbasin, cold water runs in a thin stream in the bathroom, so you can’t even dream of a good shower. Sockets and switches are probably prehistoric (it's scary to turn on the phone charger). The lock opens from the outside when the key is inserted from the inside. And this is called a room with amenities. Ticket prices are not the cheapest. . As for nutrition, you won’t die of hunger, but everything is monotonous: what you didn’t eat for lunch, you will eat up for dinner. Apart from excursions and walks, there is no other entertainment. Only for children in the evening (every other day) games were organized. Excursion to Lake Ritsa was not impressive, but I really liked the Gegsky waterfall. Overall, the trip was 50/50. Clear sea, nature, climate and homemade wine are the most vivid impressions. And the money that is collected there is invested in personal pockets, and not in improving recreation.
