We rested in August 2015. I'll start over: we arrived at the hotel at 6 am, the administrator came to work at half past ten. So they "hung out" at the reception until two o'clock in the afternoon, until the moment of settlement. Everything in the room was as promised. Cleaning was done daily, towels were changed, bed linen was thin, like cobwebs, apparently washed out already, and that's thinned out. For 11 days of rest, I went 4 times asking for toilet paper, the maid forgot to put it all the time, this at a room cost of 4 thousand per day. . . Internet costs 150 rubles per day for one device. We did not eat in the hotel dining room. I highly recommend the dining room at the Lernest Hotel, very tasty, always freshly prepared, varied food. They sometimes had breakfast and dined there every day. Once we went to the "Royal Alley", I do not recommend it. The kebab is half-baked, the food has been cooked for 100 years, although it was promised 15-20 minutes. And very expensive! We had dinner on the territory of the "Waterfall". They cook VERY tasty, but there is not even a clue about the elementary rules of service. For example, they bring food first, and then cutlery wrapped in one napkin, they don’t give more napkins until you ask. There is no elementary salt shaker, pepper shaker and napkin holder on the table. Dry wine is poured into the brandy box, a decanter of wine is placed on the table almost immediately after washing, all in drops of water. You won’t see smiles on faces, and you won’t hear the elementary “good evening” either, until you say the greeting yourself. But when the owner of the hotel or one of "his" numerous relatives and friends appears, all attention, of course, turns there. We feel superfluous at this celebration of life, believe me, this is unpleasant. And we pay money, by the way. Once again, the food was very tasty, but.... I didn't want to sit there. We waited 30-40 minutes for the bill for food, there was no time, we had to serve the chef and talk. . There are no flowers planted on the territory of the hotel. Why not decorate the area with roses?? ? By the way, the territory allows. The grass is cut and everything. Cacti are growing and oleanders are blooming. I highly recommend ordering a transfer, this is at least some kind of guarantee that you will not be late for the plane. We were very lucky, the company called us itself and said the time, when and what kind of car would come for us. The sea is very good, the beaches are semi-wild, few in number. I recommend buying water for drinking in canisters, it costs 60-80-120 rubles per 5 liters. Fruits are terribly expensive, we didn’t go to the market, I don’t know what prices are there, but on our Eshba street nectarines were from 170 to 200 rubles, watermelon 25 rubles per 1 kg, peaches 180, grapes 180 rubles and this is in the month of August! With medical care there is also somehow tense. Take medicine with you for all occasions. I am a doctor, so I was calm. And so, if anything, it’s not even clear where to turn. There are enough sights in New Athos, we visited all the places near the hotel and went to Ritsa. I can say this: we did not see any such super-duper Abkhazian hospitality. Service at zero, still study and study if they want people to go to Abkhazia. Of course, we won't be going there again. I tried to be objective, told everything as it was.
