We went specially to celebrate my mother's birthday and, of course, to remember the summer in the middle of winter. we were 5 people (including a child 6 years old), took 2 rooms. The transfer from the airport took 2.5 hours until the entire bus was taken. When we arrived at the hotel at one in the morning, they could not accommodate us for a long time. The child wanted to sleep, was capricious, and the hotel employees were unperturbed. They gave a room for three with 2 beds, although for a child for $ 180 they took an extra bed (extra bed). For a long time they cursed with them in English, they pretended that they did not understand anything and that a child of 6 years old should sleep on a narrow bed with his mother! An hour later, we were brought to the room a deck chair instead of a bed! In return, they promised a day of free internet. For what they paid $ 180 - it's not clear ! ! The mood was spoiled. The next day, instead of a deck chair, they brought a debility old cot. The baby ended up sleeping with me. Room cleaned badly: garbage, hair on the carpet. Towels were not reported. The room had a kettle, tea bags, coffee, sugar. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo and shower gel. To smooth things over a bit, they brought a cake and a plate of fruit for my mother's birthday. Unfortunately, no luck with the weather. It was the rainy season. Emirates rain is a light drizzle but cool. It was cool to swim in the pool: frequent sharp gusts of wind, drizzle, clouds. Ski Dubai Mall is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Almost near the hotel there is a tiny cafe where they make amazingly tasty and cheap fresh juices. Not bad you can eat in the "Golden Fork" is also near the hotel. We took breakfast and dinner at the hotel. The range is poor. For dinner, almost everything is spicy, or legumes, or meat with terrible spices. Pleased with only juices, vegetables and fruit salads. Internet in the room is expensive, in the lobby - only half an hour a day is free, but the speed is low. We went to the Aquaventure Dubai water park - it was warm. Good water park. There are areas for children, extreme sports lovers, many flowers, palm trees, well-groomed. True, in a cafe on the territory of terrible food-fast food (pizza, hamburgers, pasta, french fries and colla). I mastered only The Leap of Faith - a 27-meter crust with a sharp slope. Our men rode all of them and were delighted. A class trip to Oman, on the coast of the Indian Ocean. Tiresome, expensive, but worth it. On the way, they stop at a real oriental bazaar: Persian carpets, exotic delicious fruits almost for free, souvenirs. . . Then a very strict customs and a 2-story boat awaits us, which delivers to cozy, beautiful bays where you can swim, sunbathe on the beach (on a large sandy one with palm trees or a small one full of ocean shells). My daughter gained 3 kg of shells. On the way back there was fishing in the open sea, but only 1 guy was lucky. There were waves, everyone was swayed, they gave pills. It was fun)) The Ferrari Park is worth a visit if you master the extreme rides. A taxi from Dubai to Abu Dhabi is about $130, then an entrance fee is about $70, a Ferrari driving simulator in 3 minutes is $21. Little kids get bored there. The Sheikh Zayed White Mosque is worth a visit. This is power and luxury! It is located near the ferrari park. And, of course, the Burj Khalifa! We took tickets for 14h. You could even see cars on the road. The observation deck is located on the 124th floor at an altitude of 452 meters. The elevator lifts there at such a speed that it lays ears)) A country on the sand, without fresh natural water, but so luxurious!
