Good afternoon!
I hasten to share my impressions while they are fresh. We just returned from a trip to the UAE yesterday. It is something!! ! I have been to other countries and resorts, but so many amazing things in one place have never been. Before the trip, I read a lot of reviews and advice about the country and the hotel in particular, I went as if prepared, but still learned a lot on the spot. I was traveling with my husband and another family couple of friends. This time they did not take children with them, they went "for reconnaissance".
We flew to the airport and ROAD in the plane along the runways for another 15 minutes! I was surprised that a plane was rolling and right there, 50 meters away, a small fence and already city transport was scurrying around and the metro was going! The airport building is a kind of masterpiece - palm trees, chandeliers, etc. They followed the crowd, otherwise they would have figured out where to go for a long time. Customs with a retinal scan took about 30 minutes. Friends were asked to exchange a copy of the visa for the original, it took several minutes.

The settlement took place within 15 minutes (at 3 am). When I entered the room, I was horrified by the cold! We arrived called to warm up! ))) But the central air conditioner is turned off and the window was opened during the day. I’ll warn you right away - take some kind of light jacket, jacket or shawl with you. There are air conditioners everywhere: in buildings, metro, taxis, even at public transport stops it's cold!! ! Of course it’s nice from the heat, but everything is in moderation, there’s too much. Just in
Breakfast, as described, is good enough for this level of hotel. The rooms are very even! - and an iron with an ironing board, and 2 hair dryers, and a kettle with free coffee and tea, and slippers, and creams, ointments, and even a shaving kit, and nail files (this has never been seen before). Cleaning is good, and if you leave 5 derhams on the pillow, then instead of one set of creams in the basket there will be two))) and in general it is clear that they are trying to please. You can even envy the bathroom, all whims... And this is in 3 *!
The gym, according to a friend, is super. I never went to the sauna, somehow it wasn’t before)). And it's all free. The Internet is paid, but the cost is pleasantly pleasing. Rooftop pool - for a change when you want to sunbathe, but for a long time in the sun there is no desire to go out. True strained with sunbeds and umbrellas. In the pool, the water is rather cool in the morning, for an amateur, and in the jacuzzi it is warmer, but usually the companies occupied it for a long time.
I read earlier that they went to Jumeirah Beach Park No. 3 by taxi. Now there is already a hotel bus, you sign up for the reception in the evening and at 9 am it already leaves the hotel (so you need to have breakfast early). Once we signed up and changed our minds about going, so at 9.05 they called the room to clarify if we were going! The bus picks up at 12:30. You can arrive at 12.30 by this bus, and back in the evening (I don’t know the time of the evening departure). And the driver is very friendly, polite and punctual. He adheres to the schedule, but nevertheless expects those who are late (the Germans were indignant about this, they say you are thinking of going already? And he politely answers with a smile).

Entrance to the beach 5 Derhams and 20 Derhams. Initially, we failed, paying 20. We did not understand what the cost depends on, then we paid 5 derhams. On the beach, umbrellas and sun loungers are paid, towels can be rented on bail. Taking pictures on the beach is prohibited, although some of our compatriots still did it. The beach is huge, but people mostly accumulate near the water. A row of palm trees has been planted at the very entrance, you can hide in the shade there, but to be honest, it’s not under our sprawling trees! There are cafes in the park and in front of the beach itself, but we never ate there. The sea is clear, warm and with some small fish. One day turned out with a small storm, at night it was apparently bigger, the shore and the water's edge with algae. After walking two meters through the algae, you find yourself in clear water. But that day in the city there were small sandstorms - gusts of wind carrying sand. Visibility on the horizon was like a fog. For such cases, be sure to take glasses, at least protect your eyes! And then the sand was in the head and in the shoes.
There is a supermarket next to the hotel, you can perfectly skimp on the little things and the prices are trifling. We drank fresh juices according to the recommendations in the Indian cafe "Food & drink", really superb! There you can eat well and inexpensively, the choice of dishes is large. We took it to the room with us, so they pack everything to the highest standard: the main course, and their bread cakes (just yummy !! ), and salads, sauces, herbs. Nearby is an Arabic coffee house (I don’t remember the name) - delicious sweets, only baked , and good coffee. We had dinner at the restaurant of the Caspian Hotel once - you can safely take a portion for two, the rice is delicious, you also liked the grilled Hamur fish. In general, there are no problems with food. In the Dubai Marina area there is a Russian restaurant (I think it's called "Suvorov"), if you want your own dishes, you can go there.
In the malls (shopping centers) everyone will find their own - from low-cost companies and a wide variety, to exclusive and insanely expensive things. To be honest, a woman always lacks shopping, but here I was already starting to feel sick from it! ))) And not everyone has watched it yet). We took a taxi to an outmal, somewhere on the outskirts of the city. Also a large building and there is something to please yourself.
We traveled mainly by taxi, cheap and convenient. After the closure of the Dubai pier at 22:00, there is a huge queue for a taxi on the street, but the excellent work of both taxi drivers and those who regulate the landing - everything is fast, without hustle and curses. When our turn came, a friend got into the next car, not the one that came up (he wanted to look at some model of the car), so the driver was reprimanded about this! In general, I have never seen such a number of Akhov's cars anywhere, they even have Toyota taxis with an automatic transmission! And near the malls you can see such specimens that you didn’t even suspect existed !!!!

We went by metro a couple of times, you can get confused at first. Payment specifically for the number of stations, you use the ticket both at the entrance and at the exit, if you traveled too much, you pay extra (if you didn’t arrive, I don’t know if the money is returned))). The car is first and last class comfort and twice as expensive. In the rest of the carriages, separately for women and children and for men. Women can stay in the men's carriage at will, and the stay of men in the women's carriage is strictly controlled by the police.
From excursions I recommend a trip to Abu Dhabi. This is the Sheikh Zayed Mosque (very impressive and colorful! , with the obligatory dressing of our women in local clothes), a panoramic view of Ferrari World, with a stop at the Emirates Palace 5 * hotel (wow !!! ), with lunch and other interesting moments along road.
Be sure to visit the Burj Khalifa observation deck! The height of 124 floors in one and a half minutes of lifting in the elevator (not scary and not physically noticeable, only lays the ears). But tickets need to be taken a day in advance.
And the fountains! This is such a power and tender beauty at the same time! ! On the first day, we jumped out every half hour from the pier to watch the new fountain show.
Yes, you can talk about this magnificent country for a long time! And even more remains unseen. She is only 39 years old, and this has already been set up, which we never dreamed of. And the high culture of communication, and the standard of living, and the absence of taxes and gratuitous cash loans from the state, and economic policy. . . ! One can only envy and learn a lot from them!
Do not hesitate to go to the UAE or not, OF COURSE YES!
But most likely it is not worth starting a trip abroad from this country, then comparing the new country will not be in its favor.
Have a nice holiday and a lot of impressions!! !
