Occupied 2 rooms (2 and 3-bed) on the 5th floor (512 and 514 rooms).
Nothing special was expected from the hotel. We planned to spend little time at the hotel. The main purpose of the trip is to visit the sights, walk around the city, relax on the beach.
On the first day we paid a hotel tax (70 dirhams for 1 room for 7 nights).
Room: the beds are normal, quite comfortable, the bedding is clean. The blanket only looked strange, in fact it is a thin blanket between two sheets that are not fixed to each other, which is not very convenient. The toilet and bathroom are quite good, there was no mold. The water pressure is excellent, the water is hot. I did not like the furniture in the room (table, wardrobe, bedside tables) - old design and in very poor condition. There was a small fridge in the room which is a plus. But a shelf. where the refrigerator is located is very dirty and dusty. The room was cleaned every day, but it was superficial cleaning (beds were made, towels were changed, the curtain in the bathroom was adjusted). The dust was not wiped off, the windows are dirty, it seems that they have not been washed for half a year.
The room is not hot. The air conditioner was turned on only 1-2 times. There was no music in the evenings / nights, so it was comfortable to fall asleep.
Breakfast: there were sausages, eggs every day, meatballs, cheese, bread, rice with vegetables, fried meat, milk, cereal, tea, coffee, watermelon, pineapple. We ate and did not want to eat until 2 in the afternoon. Personally, I did not like the spices in many dishes, quite specific. The dining room is dirty: dusty windows, cheap furniture, stained tablecloths. If you came to breakfast quite late and there was little food left, then they approached the staff who work in the dining room and asked to add food. They brought it unconditionally.
Many wrote in the reviews that bedbugs were noticed. We didn't have them in our rooms. But, there were cockroaches. We saw them repeatedly in room 512 and in the dining room (one ran straight along the sign "Pita restaurant" =))))
The advantage of the hotel is that it is really very close to the metro, less than 5 minutes walk. They don't take you to the beach from the hotel anymore. We went on our own to Al mamzar (there are paid and free beaches), by taxi. The price was different each time, depending on whether there were traffic jams or not, which way we went. Approximately 22-27 dirhams (155-190 UAH) one way. But, there were 5 of us, we got into 1 large taxi and therefore the money came out quite inexpensively.
In principle, despite the existing disadvantages of the hotel, it justifies its 2 stars (excluding cockroaches) and I would recommend staying there.
But in the end we were very disappointed. In the middle of the rest, I wanted to put on my silver pendant, but I couldn't find it. I looked in all the bags... it's nowhere. But, nevertheless, I had doubts... and, suddenly, it's my fault and I don't remember where I put it or maybe lost it. Did not contact the administrator. And when we began to collect bags and prepare for eviction, it turned out that my friend, who also lived in room 512, lost a gold chain with a pendant, a gold ring and 100 dollars. Then it was already clear that this was not a coincidence. We turned to the administration... it's useless, they didn't return anything, they just repeated a hundred times "We have such a policy that we don't steal" =)))) As if in some hotel they could say otherwise. And they also repeated. . . take a closer look. But, we really double-checked everything several times. Moved beds, raised rugs, etc. After all, a friend really had a shock, they robbed a large amount. Our fault is that we discovered the loss late and could not say on what day exactly it happened, to whom specifically to make claims ((

So, I will share with you my opinion about the hotel. I was looking for an economy tour to Dubai, I always wanted to see this city, I know a lot about it, infrastructure, transport, places, etc.
It was not an option to go on a last-minute tour, since you need a visa, registration and all that, I didn’t want to risk the deadlines.
I read reviews about the hotel about cockroaches, bedbugs, mosquitoes and other insects . . In general, in my head I put together a route for all 5 days of my stay in Dubai and decided not to worry about the hotel, as I planned to just come in the evening tired and stupidly spend the night (in the end it was, but that's not the point).
And so . . transfer to the hotel, late evening, sleepy guys at the reception, who are clearly processing, the room was given immediately without any questions, but on the 6th floor. Immediately the first advice - take rooms on the upper floors, at least the 4th, because on the second floor every (or not every) night is a Pakistani disco, it will probably be difficult to fall asleep. I definitely heard the disco 3 times in 5 days.
The room is quite a modest cozy room, the view from the window is certainly not Khalifa, but for me, as I wrote above, this did not mean anything at all. Non-smoking rooms, no balcony, so you have to smoke in the room. There is a conder, though I only realized before leaving that it worked at 20 degrees all the time. There was no heat in the room, so I didn't bother about it.
Oh yes, don’t be alarmed upon arrival, you will be asked for a tourist tax, it depends on the star rating of the hotel and the number of nights. In this case, for 5 nights 10 dirhams per day, total 50 dirhams, little things.
Also, don't worry about passports. We arrived tired, issued a room, paid the tax, went to the room, settled down, and then I did not find our passports for a cigarette, we were completely tired, let them out of sight. Went down to the reception desk, they said "no problem". In general, the system is such that for your own safety, in terms of losing it, your passports remain in the safe below, you can come and pick it up at any time, this will not be banned, but I decided to leave it, you never know, I don’t want to lose my passport in the UAE either .
The location of the hotel is convenient, 5 minutes to the red metro line, a lot of bus routes pass nearby, including the Gold Market, only routes 5-7 go there.
Meals were included - breakfast, so they were never there, they slept after evening walks.
Wi-Fi is paid. 1 hour - 15 dirhams, 2 hours - 25 dirhams, 24 hours is also available, I don't remember the cost. A check is given with a login and password, it will not work from several devices at the same time, all the unused time remains "on the check". Log out at any time again Log In and continue to use.
We took an hour a day, in the morning for 15 minutes each updated mail, unsubscribed to those who needed it, in the evening the same way.
In general, I think my review helped in choosing a hotel and threw away all fears about the "horrors" of the Dubai deuce.
Satisfied with the hotel!
who is personally interested in my route in Dubai, fares, meals, etc. - write, I will be glad to help and advise.

Iranian disco rumbles at night. Below the 5th floor, trying to sleep is pointless. Russian TV, gym, no minibar. Every description on the internet is a lie. The rooms are dirty and ashes. But we are very lucky! On the second night I was bitten by bed bugs. I woke up with an itch, blood on the sheets. In the morning at the reception they said: yes, we know there are bed bugs. The room and even the mattress refused to change. They didn't even provide an iron to iron the sheets and the mattress. Where did we understand so much ambition from the staff! We made a scandal for Natalie and moved to another hotel for a surcharge of $ 30 per day. POCKER! bugger! HOME!

Out of 9 days, 4 days went by taxi to Al Mamzar beach. My husband and I did not like the hotel, but we have something to compare with, we often go to Dubai on vacation. If it is possible to pay extra 5-10 thousand rubles, choose another hotel. But the flight from Dubai to Tyumen with Pegasus on January 14.2013 is a separate unpleasant situation...

They were taken to the beach on coupons, there were so many people that they were taken in 3 calls at 8.9, and 10. the beach is paid 5 dirhams. The beach is dirty, cigarette butts everywhere. Tours were taken from Pegasus. They took modern Dubai - $65, jeep safari - $70 and Wild Wadi water park - $70. Everyone liked the excursions, especially the singing fans, the safari and the water park are just super!! ! We went to eat at a Chinese restaurant not far from the hotel, for 19 dirhams - a buffet. In honor of the holiday on December 2 - Association of AE, discounts in stores were 3 days. Things there are really cheap, but everything is China. They wrote a lot about short skirts (shorts), open shoulders - all tourists walk normally and do not worry. Have a great rest! The country is very beautiful. You won't regret if you go there.

I want to describe everything in order: The hotel is located in the Deira area, this is considered one of the worst areas in Dubai, (but the prices for housing in this area are pleasing, in relation to other hotels in the best areas). Eureka is close to the metro, close to cafes and this is her +. The staff is very friendly, good, there is a Russian-speaking guy at the reception, he will always answer any questions. … More ▾ I want to describe everything in order: The hotel is located in the Deira area, this is considered one of the worst areas in Dubai, (but the prices for housing in this area are pleasing, in relation to other hotels in the best areas). Rooms: not large, without balconies, old furniture, hot water is available all the time, the room is very clean, they clean every day and change the bed too. Meals: breakfast is just awful, we skipped it), but they are replaced for lunch, everything is very tasty, so we recommend lunches, the assortment is not large, but the food is good (it’s better to take a tour with lunches, it will come out to you a little cheaper and less problematic , that's for sure!!! ). Delivery to the beach: very organized, 3 flights at 8:00.9:00.10:00, there are places in the bus for everyone, very convenient! There are free flights to large shopping centers.
In general, we had a very good opinion about this hotel, compared it with others and rejoiced, but in recent days we were still bitten by bedbugs. They are there, it's true ((( And never settle for a room below the 4th floor (music is very loud) 5-6th floor is ideal. Good luck! )))

Previously rested in different countries and constantly in 5 *. But, knowing that the UAE is an expensive country, like many, they tuned in for the worst. The hotel fully justified its 2 *, even more than. The rooms are clean, the bedding was changed twice, towels, shampoos and shower gels were changed daily. The staff is very friendly. There is a Russian-speaking guy at the reception. Many wrote that without knowledge of English in the Emirates there is nothing to do. Nothing like this. Even with little knowledge, you can understand what they want from you and what you would like. As they wrote in the reviews about the presence of bedbugs, I want to assure: -I did not find them! Although I myself am a doctor by training and take such things seriously, the first thing I did when we entered the room was to immediately turn over everything that was possible to establish their presence. I did not find any bedbugs or their scales! Music was not heard, about which they wrote a lot because it was Ramodan. Near the hotel, on the right side, across the road there is a small SABA supermarket. There you can buy water, juices, nuts, chips, well, any other small rubbish. SITY CENTER is not far from the hotel, where free shuttles run daily at 10:58.13:13.16:18 and 21:53. But we used it only once to find our way to the hotel, and then we walked and it took about 20-30 minutes. if not in a hurry. There are many shops and other shopping centers not far from the hotel on both sides, so there is where to take a walk. Be sure to take adapters with three plugs with you, because all sockets are for a triple plug. We had to buy an adapter from SABA, its cost is 7 dirhams. In the SITY CENTER we wandered into a grocery store, like our AMSTORE, METRO, AUCHAN. Everything is there, just like ours. Fruits, vegetables, etc. We bought grilled chicken there, (in the culinary department) to taste, and it is no different from ours. In the fish department, when they saw an abundance of different shrimp, and even the prices were not the same as ours, but much lower, that is, a freebie, they decided to buy a cheap ate. a kettle for 37 dirhams and every day in our room there was a ritual of cooking shrimp))). (Tiger prawns per kg. 30-40-50 dirhams) Although the metro is close to the hotel, it costs more than a taxi. So we took a taxi. From the hotel to the Dubai Mall (this is where the tallest building of the Burj Khalifa, fountains and the largest shopping center + aquarium) by taxi knocked out 30-35 dirhams one way. From the hotel to Burj Arab (sail) one way it was 40-45 dirhams. But it's all in the same direction. so you can go directly to the "Sail" and visit the Souk Madinat Jumeirah market nearby, go to the Jumeirah beach nearby, take cool photos against the backdrop of the hotel and head to the fountains, the aquarium and the Dubai Shopping and Entertainment Center (Dubai mall). (Dubai Mall) is the largest shopping and entertainment center in the Middle East. All this is in one complex, as well as on the way back and direction to the Eureka hotel. When flying to the UAE, they took a bottle of champagne in their suitcase, in DUTY FREE they bought a bottle of delicious vodka, cognac and liquor. There were no problems with importation. Since we flew through the Arab. company, then they didn’t feed or pour on the plane. ((But even here our man can be found, taking with him in his hand luggage a couple of plastic cups "So that the boss does not hear"))) and taking a few boutiques for snacks and snacks)). The holiday turned out great, there is something to remember. The country is very beautiful, but expensive. I forgot to write, excursions are expensive. The cheapest is a survey of Dubai for $55, all the rest start from 70-80 and above. $ 70 excursion to Abu Dhabi with a visit to the mosque. $80 - jeep ride in the desert. I really liked the trip to Oman, to the Indian Ocean, costing $ 70. The tour included lunch (very tasty) at the hotel in Oman. The hotel is very comfortable and clean. It's true to go 2.5 hours. , but it's worth it, the guides do not let you get bored along the way, so the time passes quickly. Hotel Eureka highly recommend. Moreover, the hotel is needed there only to spend the night and again on the road. Take only breakfast, because you can eat just as well yourself, sometimes even cheaper. HAVE A GOOD REST ALL!! !
