I ended up in Dubai for work in less than two days. On the only free evening, he dangled to the center. Practically unprepared, which is unusual for me)))).

Sally time is 18:00-21:30, Monday.

I got there on an almost empty subway.

At the exit from the station, he made a mistake - he went out into the street below. It was necessary to climb a level higher and walk along an air-conditioned overpass on foot. Plus - a couple of shots from unconventional angles.

Burj Khalifa

In the red - he sweated well.

The target was the famous fountains and the Burj Khalifa.

About fountains. I watched five 5-minute shows (every half an hour) - during the day, at dusk, in the dark and in the dark from above (from the observation deck of Burj Khalifa). I have NOT seen the following - lasers, holograms, pyrotechnics, even colored lights. There was none of this. IT WAS - dancing fountains with music, in the dark illuminated with ordinary (yellowish) light. Laconic, stylish, but not rich. In Vinnitsa, the show is probably cooler. In Singapore (what is on Marina Bay twice a night) is definitely cooler. Well, or in Barcelona, the fountain is also somehow more fun. I checked the photos on the net - one out of 100 shows what I did not see. Video is another matter, everything is there. It looks like the grand shows are only on special days. Follow the posters in general)))).

There were practically no people:

Finally leaving the fountains, I asked if it was still possible to get to the Burj Khalifa tower itself. It turned out that it was possible, and I was standing 20 meters from the ticket office. I bought a ticket at an empty box office (35d), took the elevator (very fast and comfortable) without any queue to the half-empty observation deck (124-125 floor).

I looked at Dubai at night from a height of 480 meters.

View from above from Burj Khalifa.

I always decide for myself the question: is it worth it to just climb somewhere just to look from above? Pay money for it and / or shove on foot? But I always get up. I love heights and, apparently, difficulties)))).

Back on the subway, I went through the famous Shopping mall. Until recently, I was very skeptical about this type of sights. Shopping for me is hard, though sometimes necessary work. But since recent Singaporean times, a new concept has been born in my head - a mall, if it is modern, new and central, there is a modern semblance of a palace. Are palaces tourist sites? Well, the mall is the same, luxury, fountains, huge halls, scenery. This one from Dubai is one of them. Instead of expositions with rarities from royal life - boutiques.
