The hotel looks great: the hall is large, there are a lot of sofas, and most importantly, I didn’t find regular smokers there. The elevator really failed, it looks like it is walking and walks periodically on its own. The rooms (we had a double) are very large, the three of us and with fishing rods, which my husband periodically scattered around the room, it was not crowded. The furniture is wooden, very pleasant, the mattress on the bed is just super! Bathroom with bath and shower, everything is clean, nothing broke or leaked. We had a view of the roof of the restaurant and the stage, where children's and adult animation takes place in the evenings. At first we were upset, but after a while we realized that this was the best option: you can see the artists, what is called “on the spot”, and there are few places below, besides, all the speakers periodically work with balcony spectators. The balcony is spacious, there is plastic furniture and a dryer. But in the EP the balconies are funny, only Juliet will fit, and Romeo will have to hang out in the room.
The girls at the reception are very polite, even a little scared, everyone speaks Russian. It is better to exchange money in Gloria. Do not go to street exchangers! The best rate is in Varna, in a cooperative bank, where a passport is not required and the rate is higher than the rest.
The location of the hotel is simply wonderful - access to all shopping streets, a bus stop to Varna is nearby, a monastery is nearby (adjacent to the hotel), a local bike sky hotel Joliot Curie with a panoramic cafe on the 12th floor (cafe is so-so, but the resort is visible), around is shady a park and access to attractions (there are few of them, but near Estreya their accumulation exceeds all "resort norms"). The hotel itself is new, well maintained, unlike the resort, the territory is small and closed.

"Children's Playground" is located in the neighboring courtyard near Estreya Palace: in the darkest corner, one wooden slide was forlornly attached and 2 swings, no longer young and not at all wooden. under very small priests. By the way, in 15 days I never found a short way to this courtyard (we went through a restaurant or on an additional elevator from the first floor of the EP there is a plastic passage to the first floor of the EP. )
We do not like to visit swimming pools, and in EP it did not at all resemble a work of art, so we never dared to flounder around. As always, many sea lovers from Germany of post-retirement age lay and sat around.
I can describe the Swedish breakfast and dinner with the words "like everywhere in Bulgaria", for dinner there are several types of meat and fish, sometimes even very well cooked, rice turns out well. The children's menu is touching: chickens and sauted potatoes, for breakfast one kind of porridge, in principle, quite edible, I didn’t try everything, but they cook honestly with the addition of milk. Very nice cakes and desserts, and I probably ate ice cream for a year ahead. I strained with fruit: in September, fruits in EP did not want to ripen in any way, unlike their freely sold counterparts (by the way, outrageously cheap, compared to other Bulgarian resorts).
Room cleaning is decent, we did not leave a tip, but everything was in order, the bed was changed every 3 days, towels - every day, the bed was filled with all sorts of bows and turntables.
The beach is a separate song. You go to the right - you get to the beach, you go to the left - you get 2 times, right - there are no moves here, right and left moves. The best at Azalea, walk 10-15 minutes. along a shady alley, called "Sahara" (apparently by the amount of sand.
From adventures: rented bikes, went on a Sunny day and around the resort. It is better to do this during the day, there are fewer people on the streets. We went to Albena, Golden Sands, Kranevo. Everything on buses or taxi drivers reduced the price almost to the bus price (for three of us, 5-15 leva, depending on the route). The bus is really on the highway, go 5-7 minutes. to the left, in the opposite direction from bus stop 8. Next to the EP there is a monastery with a small chapel, where we baptized all non-Christs (aged 11 and 37).

Not far from the hotel is a swimming pool with mineral water, hot. It is very difficult to swim, it is hot, but you can walk, especially in bad weather. Be careful with the pool: you can easily lose your tan (who cares to brag) and sleep.
In general, the holiday was a success, however, as always. They did not pay attention to the little things, they smiled at everyone, in return they received a good attitude and a wonderful vacation.
