I had free days at the beginning of June, with pleasure I went to the Estreya Residence Hotel again in almost a month (see review below). Everything was great. Early check-in, this time they gave an apartment of 50 sq. m. on the 5th floor (rested in single mode). By this time, the outer pools were already full.

Yes, this hotel has 3 pools and a spa, but cleaning the rooms is something, even if you kindly leave money for the maid. For the money left, they will at most somehow vacuum the room, make the bed and beautifully lay out the towels on the bed, well... and if the maid is in a good mood, she will somehow wipe the dust. Cool? and this is almost for 5*. . . Maybe for someone it is 4*, but I know for sure how cool it was before in ordinary 2*. Therefore, think carefully before choosing this hotel. By the way, I heard very good reviews about Azalea there...

The food is good: meat dishes, salads, dessert (cake, ice cream) as much as you like, fruits, local wines (although the wine was given so-so). It is not expensive to rent a car. The rooms are nice spacious, we liked the furniture, expensive nat wood. Each room has a balcony. The staff is polite.
But there are also disadvantages: there is no beach of its own, although they write that the first line, but this is not so, you have to go through. There are no slides by the pool either. In general, the hotel is respectable, but it's not fun there, the rest were mostly pensioners from Germany. But there are many cafes with live music nearby. Lots of shops. But all the same, from the entertainment there in the resort of St. Konstantin and Elena have nothing. All the fun in Golden Sands. The nightlife is in full swing there.
In general, a stay in this hotel is for lovers of peace and a healthy lifestyle.

But what I didn’t like, and I want to write about it, is the service in the restaurant. There are a lot of very young girls who, apparently, do not like their work. It seemed like they were clearing the tables with a favour. Very often I had to look for forks / spoons, because no one was in a hurry to quickly replenish what was in active use. This also extended to the "basins" with food, which were also in no hurry to endure when something was over.
The hotel has children's animation, good girls spend and the kids like them. Our room was cleaned by a wonderful woman named Elena, who every day made cool figures for us from towels and sheets on the bed. We were not particularly lucky with the sea, because only 3 days out of 2 weeks there was a green flag, and all the other days there were high waves, but this still does not detract from the dignity of the sea).
And so, of course, everyone have a good rest and may you be more lucky with the service than us!! !

Internet in the lobby is free of charge, wired in the room - 10 leva per day. They have a wine shop right in the hotel, their own winery - excellent wine for a penny of money !!

I must say right away that we were not mistaken, although there were many negative reviews. I'll start from the beginning, upon arrival we were given a room where there were two separate beds, we wanted to change the room to another with a double bed, but they were on the other side of the hotel, where the restaurant is located. scene and movement and decided to stay here. They just moved the beds. The air conditioner did not draw more than 27 degrees, but we knew about it from the reviews (the disease of all hotels in Bulgaria) and took the advice to open the balcony at night, and again we solved this problem during the day we don’t need it, but at night it’s super to sleep. We took ALL and did not regret it, it is better than in other countries where we were - a large selection of alcoholic, non-alcoholic drinks (you can drink alcoholic drinks even for breakfast if anyone needs it, and of very good quality, without consequences), you can find nutrition any taste, for meat, there is always a chicken (such as it used to be with poultry, and not like now incomprehensible bloated chickens stuffed with chemicals, grilled chickens on the street, in a cafe of the same size and shape as my grandmother had in the village) , veal or pork (always very tasty), awesome fish. Salads are not for everyone, but there are also nothing. Side dishes of at least 3 types, soups of 2 types (one is definitely always cool). Of the sweets, there are also three types of varieties, awesome ice cream and grapefruit fruits (they didn’t try it better, they just ate them), oranges, kiwi, nectarine, apples, bananas, apricots, watermelon. The rooms were cleaned every day with the replacement of towels and, in my opinion, beds. It is also close to Varna, where there is cheap and high-quality shopping and, of course, Golden Sands is nearby, where you can go swimming and sunbathing if someone did not have enough money to go there or want to see them. If you want to have a good rest, go there and you will not regret it, the main thing is to think about the good and not bother with trifles, do not demand from the Bulgarians what we are used to at home (in food and everyday life), and understand what we eat on the Black Sea, and it is the same as we have on the Black Sea coast, only a little cleaner. The only problem I think is with drinking water - you always want to drink, there is no room in the rooms, but at night you want it, you had to buy it. The balcony is spacious, there is plastic furniture and a dryer. But in the EP the balconies are funny, only Juliet will fit, and Romeo will have to hang out in the room.
The girls at the reception are very polite, even a little scared, everyone speaks Russian. It is better to exchange money in Gloria. Do not go to street exchangers! The best rate is in Varna, in a cooperative bank, where a passport is not required and the rate is higher than the rest.
The location of the hotel is simply wonderful - access to all shopping streets, a bus stop to Varna is nearby, a monastery is nearby (adjacent to the hotel), a local bike sky hotel Joliot Curie with a panoramic cafe on the 12th floor (cafe is so-so, but the resort is visible), around is shady a park and access to attractions (there are few of them, but near Estreya their accumulation exceeds all "resort norms").
