The room was good, air conditioning, cozy atmosphere, and most importantly - a view of the Black Sea) Cool!
The hotel has a lot of entertainment, you can relax without even leaving it. The staff always answered questions, even suggested what and where to visit in Golden Sands. beautiful city)
I highly recommend that you set aside a few days and take a walk, go on excursions, try something new) It’s also good to sit in the hotel, but still the rest should be eventful)
In general, everything went well.

A few days before arriving in Bulgaria, I went to this site and read the reviews about the Azalia Hotel. Who wrote well, who badly, but the rating is normal and I calmed down. But when I arrived in Azalea, I remembered the review "I do not advise those who have already been to good places on vacation. "And so it happened. I'll start everything in order: Even before arriving in Bulgaria, I contacted the hotel and asked in what currency they would accept payment from me, because the price for the rooms was in euros. I was told that it is not in dollars, but they will accept it in euros, but preferably in leva. What a surprise for me was when they didn’t want to accept euros and, of course, settle too !!! I had to take a taxi to go to Varna and change euros to levs. (The price of a taxi was 28 leva, which is about 14 euros). And now, having changed the euro to the left, we are happy to give money back. . . After a 30 hour trip, I imagine washing myself in the shower. . . , but we are told: - You need to wait a little. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, everyone who came with us had already settled into the rooms!!! We are waiting. . . 30 minutes. . . 40 minutes. . . We approach the reception, in response: A little more, a little. We are waiting again. . . 30 minutes. . . 40 min. . . When will these be finished???? The husband can not stand it goes to the reception. With a crooked face, they answer: - Actually, we have a check-in after 14. Couldn't you have said about this right away??!!! Somehow there is a difference between "slightly" and 5 hours!!! We would go for a walk or check into another hotel, anything is better than sitting on the couch in the lobby for 5 hours. To be clear, we arrived out of season and almost the entire hotel was free. If there was a season and there were no free rooms, I would understand everything. . . What to say about the room. I liked the room, clean, good furniture, two single beds (can be combined), a large and spacious wardrobe, a plasma TV (3 channels in Russian), a mini bar, bathrobes and towels. Of the minuses: the hair dryer did not work and the iron was in the ironing room on the 3rd floor. I had my own hair dryer. The hotel was almost empty, so there was no queue to pet. Loved the food (buffet). Very tasty food and great variety. But as it turned out early rejoiced. . . In Bulgaria at that time there was a big holiday, I don’t know how many days they walked it, but we found it for two days. After the last Bulgarians left the hotel, they began to feed us with what they had not eaten during the holidays. . . It got to the point that the chicken wings simply stank of rotten, and the porridge was sour, the peels of the chopped oranges dried up. It also turned out that neither tea, nor coffee, nor yupi (they called it juice), nor even boiling water are included in the dinner!!! We were brought to the table a decanter of water, which stank of bleach, obviously poured from the tap!!! When they began to find out from the waiters why even boiling water was not allowed, they answered without hesitation: - We have a shortage. Oh my God!!! For 57 euros they can't even pour me boiling water!!! After complaints reached the management of the hotel. Azalea's staff tried to resuscitate. For the last two days, we (these are 10 people from Ukraine and Russia) were well fed and even served tea for dinner. But as they say: Spoons were found, but the sediment remained. From the good: the hotel is very close to the beach, no, not close, it stands on the beach. You leave the hotel and immediately the sea. . . The view from the room is gorgeous. . . There is WiFi in the lobby, not very fast, but there is. Room cleaning is good - clean, but no shampoo, gel, etc. They put a cap and bath salts in the room. There is a warm indoor pool with mineral water, a sauna, a gym - it's free. In a 5-minute walk, there is a shop and a bus stop to get to Varna (travel 1 lev about 0.5 euros). Conclusion: - I can not recommend this hotel!

Rested family 2 adults and 1 child (3 years) in this hotel. We arrived in Konstantin and Elena at 10:30 in the morning, we checked into the Hotel at 13:30, because we were waiting for a room for couples to be vacated. The hotel is wonderful worth its 4 stars, located right on the beach. Pros: Hotel location right on the seafront, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, new furniture, room with sea view (almost all rooms with sea view), varied and tasty food, alcoholic drinks of any kind, animation mainly for adults (the guys tried), 4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool with mineral water 30 degrees Celsius, 2 water slides, 2 beach bars. … More ▾ Rested family 2 adults and 1 child (3 years) in this hotel. Cons: You have to wait a long time for the elevator, problems with sun loungers (due to the fact that when you go to the beach it is clearly written not to take sunbeds, and people in the morning take leaving towels and tying sunbeds with scarves and leave for breakfast without returning until evening) thus a lot of occupied sunbeds empty and the people who came have nowhere to settle down, steal towels (went to swim when one towel returned, a fine of 10 euros).
But basically everything is fine, I recommend this hotel to families with children.
P. S. A big hello to a VIP client who, despite the prohibitions, takes sunbeds and leaves, and then with indignation and claims that I am a privileged client vacationing here for 10 years, this is my sunbed and I have every right to occupy it and leave (photo attached).

Don't believe the bad reviews! We rested in Azalea in June 2013. Great hotel! The best in this resort! Ideal for families. Diverse food (pork, chicken, fish - boiled, fried, stewed). Lots of vegetables (both fresh and stewed). Fruits 3 times a day in a restaurant + in a bar on the beach. You can feed the children without any problems (there are also milk porridges, and pancakes, and soups 2 times a day, and boiled dishes). … More ▾ Don't believe the bad reviews!
In some review I read about a terrible queue for pancakes. Lies! Queue of 2-3 people (this is 2-3 minutes of waiting). Pancakes of a neutral taste, they can be eaten with jam and meat. The only negative is that there are no fermented milk products (there is draft yogurt, but it looks like sour milk, I didn’t like it). Therefore, we bought yogurts for the child in the supermarket (10 minutes walk to him). Do not believe the stories about the general intestinal infection! If you do not drink water from the pool, and wash your hands before eating fruit or ice cream on the beach, then everything will be fine.
Every evening, themed cuisines from different countries and an entertainment program for adults (until 22-00), then the music on the street turns off, and for those who wish, live singing and a synthesizer in the lobby bar until late, and this music is not heard at all in the rooms. The kids club disappointed us. In the heat of the day, they suggest taking the children to the pool. Animators are constantly late for the opening of the club. Instead of games, they put children to watch cartoons in Bulgarian. So you can not count on the kids club.
The rooms are cleaned every day. Furniture and fixtures are all in good condition. The sunbeds on the beach are comfortable, but marked by birds. If you like to relax near the pool, then the sunbeds there should take hours at 6 in the morning. And on the beach itself, there are no problems with the choice of sunbeds at all, the farther from the pool, the more free places. The bottom of the sea in places with large, but flat stones, which do not interfere with swimming at all.
The hotel has 2 main lifts (one for each of the semi-circular towers). We lived on the 7th floor. There were no problems with waiting - a maximum of 2 minutes (the elevator travels very quickly).
Parking near the spruce is really very small (20 cars). There is a paid guarded for 5 leva per day. It can be reached by a small open car with a hotel employee or a walk along a shady path (20-25 minutes on foot).
Of course, the hotel has certain small disadvantages, which are different for each tourist. But overall a great hotel! Therefore, we advise you not to spoil your vacation with bad thoughts. Come and enjoy your vacation! We highly recommend!

Correctly already someone wrote: IF YOU ALREADY VISITED SOMEWHERE ELSE, IN NO EVENT DO NOT GO TO BULGARIA!! ! Bulgaria itself is a scoop and sucks. Outside the hotel - dirt and mess. Bulgarians are very lazy and not very clean people. Regarding the hotel:
Hotel "AZALIA". Despite the fact that it is considered one of the best in the resort of St. Konstantin and Helena, it hardly draws even a C grade.
people with kids!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! DON'T EVEN THINK TO GO TO THIS HOTEL!! ! The hotel "walks" intestinal infection from year to year!! ! Everyone writes about it, but still many go in the hope that this year will be better. Not! Intestinal infection is always in the hotel "AZALIA"!! ! This is confirmed by local doctors.
If you are forced to go, because already booked a hotel/tour, try to avoid the pools: presumably the infection comes from there. And stock up on Enterosgel and Enterofuril. There, all these medicines are saved.
The cleanliness of the hotel leaves much to be desired. Cleaning depends on the maid - we were lucky, there was nothing, but the neighbors - just dirty... once she replaced ours - horror!
The dishes in the hotel are not washed properly. Feeding - so-so. You can eat, of course, but there is no particular enthusiasm. People who traveled somewhere outside our homeland for the first time are delighted.
The hotel has a lot of children with grandparents, and of course, with their parents too. Screeching, screaming, laughing, crying. It's just normal. But all children periodically get sick, as described above.
Beach. The hotel has its own beach... But, apparently, it rents out part of the territory to beaches located at 2.3, etc. lines. Some aunt brings them in whole groups and places them on some territory of the AZALEA beach, which is fenced with a rope. For the rest, which is without sunbeds, EVERYONE who wants it comes in general....It is impossible to go to the sea with a hotel room - people are lying around - one on top of the other !!!
Elevator. Many in their reviews write about the elevator. We lived on the 8th floor. Yes, it's really hard. There is only 1 elevator for such a big hotel! True, in fairness it must be said that this year it was replaced with a high-speed one. And still! Long wait for the elevator! He collects everyone from all floors, sometimes you won’t get into the elevator on the first ride - you just don’t fit. What happened before! I can imagine.
Room: We were given a double room for 4 people (2 + 2), they just brought in 2 more chair-beds. It became completely impossible to move around the room! Little space.
The plumbing is really bad. Beach towels are issued once per trip, it is very difficult to change them later.
The towels in the room are white, or rather, for some reason, gray. Even in Turkey (not to mention Europe) the towels are white.
Bed linen and towels were changed regularly. Others did not change at all!
The staff is quite friendly. Animation is. Normal like, we didn't go, really.
