Evksinograd is the summer residence of the Bulgarian royal family on the Black Sea coast. It is currently used for official presidential and government receptions.
The palace of the crowned couple was filled with gifts from foreign rulers: a sundial was presented by Queen Victoria, a huge chandelier was presented by the Spanish Bourbons. In the garden, which was created by the famous gardener Edouard Andre, about 310 plant species were planted, ordered by Ferdinand from all over the world.
