I liked it except that the rest is directly on the sea, the beach is sandy.
Service and room service is also mediocre, for a week we never changed bed linen! There is always humidity in the room, I still don’t understand why. The food at the hotel is mediocre, everything is in general, but there is no variety. It was such that I had to eat without a side dish. And if there is, then it is either rice-potatoes or pasta-potatoes NOT more than that. French fries have always been, but I do not take them into account. The wine poured into barrels is full of chatter))) More or less juices, sodas and coffee can be drunk. The main restaurant has obvious problems with customer service. The staff is young, slow, it looks like they recruited some schoolchildren.

We arrived at 9.30, handed over the luggage to the hotel storage, all the staff are friendly, they speak Russian. We wandered around Sunny Beach, looked for an ATM, ate somewhere until 13.00, then the small one started to turn off, returned, one of our two rooms was already ready, we went to take a nap after a sleepless night there. If I go there again, I will do otherwise - opposite the supermarket - adults for prey, the baby in the pool, the hall is just huge, a lot of places to comfortably sit in anticipation of arrival. The rooms are excellent-supermatresses, spacious, climate control, not air conditioning. full length mirrors. In the hotel, despite the large number of people, it is somehow quiet, there is no pandemonium at the elevators (there are 4 of them). The only rooms we had were overlooking the park, so it was so calm, we slept with an open balcony, only the seagulls woke up in the morning. )) I read a review about gray towels-lies. EVERYTHING in the room, bed linen, towels, white paper and excellent quality! towels every day, bedding 1 time in 3 days, tips were left only on the last day. Food - You can choose for every taste - for both the child and the meat-eater. Yes, breakfasts are monotonous, milk, tea, coffee, 4 types of cereals, 3-5 sausages, buns, 3-5 types of cheese, vegetables, olives, local awesome cheese (in herbs, spices, etc. and without them) ) 3 salads, hot dishes - 8 pcs (bacon, scrambled eggs, beans, etc. ) porridge, yogurt, 2-3 types of muffins, cheese puffs, croissants with different. early , ALWAYS (breakfast, lunch, dinner), fruits of 4 kinds The ripeness was different. There is a microwave and toaster. I won’t list lunches and snacks, the table is breaking 4 meters, everything is fresh (none of us have ever had stomach problems) they serve 2 soups at the same time, 8 hot dishes, the staff monitors, as soon as the dishes are empty, they serve new or completely different , this applies to everything - soups, salads, and mountains. and desserts. Desserts, both for lunch and dinner, are a series of cakes, rolls, pastries, creams. The principle is the same - 2/3 ate-ended by others. Ice cream - lunch, dinner, and at the bar. Dinner is the same as for lunch, only without soup. For all the time of our stay, they have not been repeated even once (with the exception of appetizers) Pancakes are fried on the veranda for breakfast, lunch, grilled dinner. The amphora was separated, there were never any queues. They have a beach, trail with children for 6 minutes. Sun loungers in Bulgaria are paid everywhere, only on other. beaches 21 lev (2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella) and in the Imperial at the reception 12. If you walk 10 m further, there is a separate large space for bedding for free. The sea is clean, very warm, comfortable gentle entrance. Moreover, algae do not fall on a piece of coast 100 meters from our beach towards the center and to Nsebar during a storm, apparently the wind rose does not allow. But in the center of Solnechny it was impossible even to walk along the shore - there were fetid heaps everywhere, in the sea - green porridge. The bar is the only, in my opinion, the weak point of the hotel, but we didn’t go there, except on the first day, there was enough food in the restaurant. We only sent our daughter for fruit and ice cream (open from 11-15) Snacks, something hot, pizza, waffles, pancakes. , but somehow it was broken to eat from flying away plastic dishes. The wines are not diluted - ordinary canteens, in general, alcohol is so cheap there that it simply makes no sense to dilute it, especially since it is simply impossible in that vacuum container. But of course those plastic cups. . . In the pool, the children were allowed to splash only 3 times, maybe that's why they didn't get sick. )) Of course, it was perfectly clean, but I don’t understand splashing in chlorinated water when the sea is near. There was some kind of animation there, but we already had something to do with ourselves, so I don’t know anything about it. A lot of letters turned out, but maybe my review will help someone decide. If I didn't answer any questions, write and I'll answer.

We rested from 08/18/11 to 08/29/11 with two small children (9 months and 3.5 years old) and a 15-year-old daughter. Having read not too optimistic reviews about the "Imperial", I was set up accordingly. As it turned out, in vain.
From Burgas airport, we took a minibus for about 30-40 minutes to get to Sunny Beach, stopping at Pomorie along the way (we settled several people in local hotels). They arrived at the Imperial about half past seven in the evening. Settled within 5 minutes. The studio room was on the 7th (penultimate) floor, overlooking the sea. Moreover, we did not pay for the sea view either to the tour operator when buying a tour, or at the reception at the hotel.
About the room: an area of approximately 30 sq. m. , a large (about 10-12 sq. m. ) balcony of a round shape. In the room: 2 wardrobes, a table, a large double bed, a double sofa bed, 2 bedside tables, a TV, a minibar, a safe (for an extra charge, 5 levs per day), a bathroom. On the balcony there are 2 plastic chairs and a table.
Meals: according to the all inclusive system, everything is tasty and quite varied. Maybe not like in 5 * in Turkey, but very, very worthy: salads, meat and cheese cuts, yogurts, soups, sausages, meat dishes of 4-5 types (ribs were especially liked), hard and soft cheeses, pastries , ice cream, fruits, vegetables… Restaurants have microwaves, milk, so we could make milk porridge for the youngest child. We had no cases of poisoning or illness due to poor-quality food. The only drawback is that tourists from the neighboring hotel (“Amphora”) ate in our hotel, we had breakfasts and dinners in different restaurants, so this did not cause any inconvenience, but lunches were in one. First (from 11.00 to 13.00) we dined, and already around 13.20 we started the neighbors. The result is long queues for food. The waiters were good, no complaints. The snack bar makes very tasty pizza (from 11.00 to 15.00), but there is always a queue behind it (the wait took 20 minutes). In bars - drinks of local production (free of charge) and imported (for a fee). Juices, however, are “chemical” a-la “Yupi”, although in the last days of our vacation they were given natural apple juice.
The room was cleaned every day, towels changed daily too.
The beach and the sea are ideal for children - fine clean sand, warm water. We saw a jellyfish two or three times. Algae washed up to the shore in waves, but there were few of them, after 2-3 meters from the shore the water was clear. In the last 3 days, we were a little unlucky with the weather - it was stormy.
Animation was seen only near the pool, before dinner. In the evenings there were sometimes performances, but they did not arouse much interest. There are no discos in the Imperial (and this is good, since then it would be problematic to relax with children). There is a small playground, a good children's pool. If you want to take a break from the child for a while, you can “hand over” it to the children’s club of the Forum Hotel nearby (we did not use this service, so I can’t say anything definite about the skill of the animators). One hour, as far as I remember, costs 7 leva.
The contingent of the "Imperial": about 30% from the ex-USSR, the rest, mostly Romanians and Bulgarians, a few Germans and British. Lots of families with children. Young people, on the other hand, are few.
“Slightly” surprised by the previous review of leva 0101, it seems that we rested in different hotels.
Firstly, there was no pushing the poor “Russians” in the restaurant by the “arrogant Bulgarians and Romanians” in the queues. Secondly, the food is normal, and why so categorically recommend eating in nearby restaurants? Thirdly, the hotel has its own beach! And even with a bar with free drinks (open from 10.00 to 18.00). Yes, sunbeds are paid there, but the tour operator warns about this before the trip! And for those who do not want to pay, quite large areas are allocated on the beach - please spread your rugs, put up umbrellas (by the way, we did this). And no one is chasing ; )). Fourth, as I wrote above, the towels in the room were changed every day. And, fifthly, it is, in my opinion, completely normal that “Check-in time” is from 14.00, and “Check-out” is until 12.00 (checked on numerous trips around Europe and Thailand).
If you are young and love to party, you are in the center of Sunny Beach, all the entertainment is there. "Imperial" is located on the edge, very close to Nessebar. We went to the new city on foot, it took about 15 minutes to walk. We got to the old city by bus or by train, it also took about 7-10 minutes to go. Bus and locomotive stops are 150 meters from the Imperial. The old part of Nessebar is very beautiful, a must visit! To the center of Sunny Beach - just over 20 minutes by train. There is nothing to do with children - there is nothing except McDonald's and small attractions, everything is “sharpened” for youth recreation - casinos, discos, erotic bars.
Also, in addition to transport stops, in the immediate vicinity of the "Imperial" there are two convenience stores (almost all the hotels were bought there), an exchanger ("Crown") with a good exchange rate, a children's inflatable slide (5 levs 15 minutes).
Summary: "Imperial" is a great place to relax with children!

In short: CHECK-IN - they arrived at 12-00 to check out us (two adults and two children) refused motivating that their check-in starts at 14-00, but when the Germans and the Poles family collapsed, everything was done for them promptly, after them we were issued exactly until 14-00 (from the first day it became clear that our brother is not liked here and tips will not help you). … More ▾ In short: CHECK-IN - they arrived at 12-00 to check out us (two adults and two children) refused motivating that their check-in starts at 14-00, but when the Germans and the Poles family collapsed, everything was done for them promptly, after them we were issued exactly until 14-00 (from the first day it became clear that our brother is not liked here and tips will not help you).
150m to the sea, but no one says that you get to someone else's beach where you need to overpay 9lv for an umbrella + 2 sunbeds.
(1 euro-1.91 lv. ), and to the beach of IMPERIAL you need to cut all 500m. The beaches are dirty - gobies, one-way. plates, glasses all 10 days no one removed, on repeated remarks by the administration. the hotel scored... TERRITORY is like getting into a soviet holiday home, I don’t want to talk about animation at all. RESTAURANT, to be more precise, a "canteen" with old peeled tables, almost all jagged dishes, one set of spices for four tables - people run around and ask each other for salt. In the fish soup, I found sausage and something resembling goulash, if they serve fish, then only boiled or canned in tomato, then probably all this goes to soups. Wine for 10 days came across as normal only three times on the remaining days it was sour or diluted - probably stolen. Fruits - if you stand at the distribution and you are dexterous, you might get lucky and come across ripe ones. We were lucky with the room, and our friends were settled above the kitchen - there was no hot water for three days and there were smells from "fish soups" - though they were moved to a normal room after a little scandal , and a family from Russia drove in their place.
THE WEATHER was sunny all day, but since lunch, as the wind was blowing according to the schedule, the children were freezing.
If you want to pay for 4+ and get 3, then this is your hotel, I'm talking about the reviews that I read before the trip. In Bulgaria, for the first time, we compared it with Turkey and Egypt, where we repeatedly rested in 4-5 stars. hotels.

I am not an active user of such sites and I resort to this kind of information only once a year when planning the next tour, and when choosing a particular hotel, I formed my choice precisely on the reviews and recommendations of tourists. Therefore, I decided to write about what was previously missing in the reviews, but in my opinion it puts the hotel in the category of unattractive for recreation and, by and large, left a negative aftertaste from the tour as a whole. … More ▾ I am not an active user of such sites and I resort to this kind of information only once a year when planning the next tour, and when choosing a particular hotel, I formed my choice precisely on the reviews and recommendations of tourists. Therefore, I decided to write about what was previously missing in the reviews, but in my opinion it puts the hotel in the category of unattractive for recreation and, by and large, left a negative aftertaste from the tour as a whole.
Our acquaintance with the hotel, and we were 2 adults with a child of 3 years old, began at 11:00 from the reception, where we were asked to wait until 14:00. When asked by the administrator, what to do all this time and where to spend it, they calmly and with a smile on their faces shrugged. Despite the fact that at that time there were empty rooms in the hotel, we were told that “our” room was being cleaned. Then it turned out that this is the principle of the hotel administration in any case not to settle before 14:00 and apply this to everyone.
The majority of the guests of the hotel were Bulgarians, Romanians, Russians, British. What immediately catches the eye is the absolutely indifferent attitude of the hotel staff towards us. The behavior of the Bulgarians and Romanians is very defiant, who create noise out of nothing and plus everything is accompanied by this impudent behavior and boorish attitude towards the rest neighbors. The restaurant menu is monotonous and by the end of the week of stay causes undisguised disgust. Wine, the pride of Bulgaria, was represented by 2 varieties, white and red liquor with a touch of alcohol. The constant and incessant queues in the restaurant, cafe, bar deserve special attention, in pushing which there are no equal Bulgarians and Romanians. Coffee and tea lovers are in for a disappointment. coffee machines only work during breakfast and tea was not served at all. Coffee is disgusting, but even for him the line did not stop. In the bar, drinks and food are served in plastic containers, which evokes associations with a cheap diner. A cocktail in a plastic cup looks rather ridiculous. An orange and blueberry drink stuffed with preservatives, substitutes, dyes was passed off as juice, there were simply no others. As a result of such irritants, I had to regularly refuse lunch or dinner and visit the restaurants adjacent to the hotel, which are countless with a varied themed menu. Therefore, I advise everyone to book hotels without meals. There are many restaurants, bars, cafes in the resort within walking distance with a rich menu and delicious cuisine for any income.
Near the pool, sun loungers and umbrellas are free, but there are never free ones, and this despite the fact that only a few rest by the pool. "Resourceful" Bulgarians and Romanians occupy free sun loungers early in the morning, putting a towel or personal belongings on them, and freely do any other business, only occasionally coming to the pool to sunbathe and swim. When I asked for a sunbed, the receptionist laughed and advised me to get up at 7:00 in order to take a free sun lounger in advance. All the chairs and deck chairs in the hotel are plastic and some of them are in terrible condition.
Rest on the beach is also disappointing, because. it turned out that the hotel does not have its own beach, and you need to pay extra for relaxing on a private beach if you find a free sun lounger with an umbrella, if there are no free ones, you can simply be asked.
During the week of our stay at the hotel, bed linen and towels were changed once. The towel, thrown before cleaning on the bathroom floor, was carefully folded and put back in place by the maid.
Cleaned the room badly, dirt and sand remained even after cleaning. Glasses and an ashtray were washed occasionally.
The result of our tour is a deep disappointment from unjustified hopes from the tour and the hospitality of Bulgaria. I felt that I had been scammed.

Here is such an established "business"! In general, the attitude of the staff of this hotel to tourists is boorish! (especially "distinguished" Miss Toni at the reception). Moreover, I noticed - regardless of nationality. Other methods of "withdrawing" money from tourists are also possible. Therefore, if someone still decides to go there - be careful !!! !
