First of all, I want to draw attention to the fact that this review will not compare a 2 * hotel with a 5 * hotel.
About the hotel.

The hotel lobby and corridors have been freshly refurbished and are clean. The reception communicates in Russian and one of the shifts in English. Elevators are new, working, OTIS firms. The hotel has a small swimming pool. At the beginning of our vacation, we were not very lucky with the weather (it rained for 3 days), but regardless of this, the cleaning of the pool did not stop, unlike the neighboring Dolphin Hotel, in which the cleaning was turned off and the next day it turned yellow. Sun loungers are washed after the rain, the territory is cleaned. There is a currency exchange in the hotel lobby, the exchange rate is real, no commission. Meals are served in the dining room and bar (they are adjacent to each other with glass panoramic doors), you can dine in the bar. There are NO claims to cleanliness in the hotel, dining room, bar and rooms, cockroaches, insects and other living creatures were not found. On the ground floor, next to the lobby bar, there is a toilet (if it is far to run to the room from the sea or the pool).
About the number.
When booking a room at the agency, we took an upgraded room, the price of which includes TV, refrigerator and air conditioner. Upon arrival at the room, the first thing they did was check the plumbing, whether everything was working, turned on the refrigerator and the TV set, did not find the air conditioner remote control... We went to the reception, we were very “nicely” answered that we had not paid for the air conditioner, taking out our voucher and showing that only TV is indicated there, and if we want to use this irreplaceable service, then the prices are in the room, as it turned out later, at a price of 6 euros per day. I draw your attention, if you book an improved room, require the agency to indicate ALL improvements in the voucher.
The next not pleasant moment was the bed linen, it was in a small hole in some places, but it was decided 1.5 lev (1 lev equals 8 UAH) left on the pillow. The bed has been changed. On the balcony of each of the rooms there are two chairs (plastic), but in our case it was two Soviet-European deck chairs of the 80s of a very tricky design, which, when you sit down on them, self-disassemble into two parts....But it only amused us, on the second day of rest we understood the principle of landing and even got bored... The renovation in the room is very simple but fresh, the curtains are not dusty, the window-door to the balcony opens effortlessly. In the bathroom, of the shortcomings, only the lack of a curtain, after reading the previous reviews, I took it with me...... but when I got to the bathroom, I realized that there was nowhere to even attach it (apparently that's why they are not there). Washbasin, toilet, all shelves, shower hose, faucets are all clean, soap, toilet paper replenished every day.
About service.

After the first night of sleep at the hotel, it turned out that one of the beds was very sagging. We turned to the reception (without screaming and foaming at the mouth, we still arrived at 2 *, we understand that not everything is new here) with a request to change the mattress, we did not count on a response. In the evening we came to the room to change the mattress. Cleaning was done every day with and without tips. The washbasin, toilet and floor were cleaned cleanly. The dust in the room was not wiped at all, I suppose because of the placed personal belongings of tourists, so that there would be no conflicts.
In the dining room, the waiters worked quickly, during dinner, some even personally served your table if they wanted to, they gave a tip of 1 euro or 1-1.5 lev.
About the beach.
The beach is located 150-200 m from the hotel and don't tell anyone if they say it's too far. This hotel is one of the hotels located in the first line from the sea, there are no buildings closer, only restaurants and bars. Most of the hotels and apartments are generally located behind the roadway, window to window to each other, and there is no question of a pool there at all, not even a small one. In the area of the hotel "Nimfa-Rusalka" is the best beach in Sunny Beach - "Cacao Beach". The disadvantage of this beach (for some segments of the population) is the nudist beach adjacent to it. So, who with children lie down in the area located immediately in front of the path leading from the hotel or by sea towards Nessebar, and there is also an option in the paid area (6 lev umbrella, 6 lev sun lounger). The entrance to the sea is very gentle, to go far to the depth. The sand is clean, special equipment drives at night to clean and level the sand. There is a rescue tower with a lifeguard and a massage therapist (judging by the communication between grandmothers), he has been working on this beach for more than 3 years. Near the beach, the sea is connected to some kind of river, where the water is colder and, by the way, behind this river, the beach of old nudists begins. The territory of the free zone on the beach is not much, moreover, from time to time a part of this zone is occupied by a children's camp. But with all this, it’s quite comfortable, we ourselves are from a city located on the Black Sea and what a beach is in season with tourists from different regions, we know firsthand when there’s not even a place to lay a litter. If anyone needs to have a toilet on the beach for 0.50 lev (4 UAH), two bars, a shawarma (dune), ice cream and gn, we forget about our hotel in the bar where you can also have a delicious meal.

About food (see photo).
We took two meals a day (breakfast, dinner).
Fed for slaughter and very tasty.
Breakfast.
Eggs - 2 types, sausage - 3 types, smoked meat or ham - 1 type, cheese - 1 type, Shopska cheese - 1 type, cottage cheese - 1 type, fried sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, peppers, purple onions, greens, chopped cabbage, dark, light buns, with meat filling, with cottage cheese, with marmalade, croissants with chocolate, different bread, butter, salt, pepper, vinegar, sunflower oil on the tables.
Fruit (usually one kind) apricots, peaches, apples, watermelons. Coffee, green and black tea, hot and cold milk, water from a cooler, juice (it sucks until you buy it in the store, it’s more like shmurdyak) muesli, cereal, lemons.
Dinner.
The first 3 days we were served with complex food (apparently due to the small number of people), then there was a buffet. I list everything that was served during the stay at the hotel. Hot second courses - two kinds, soup - one kind (every day is different).
Vegetables, cold cuts, feta cheese the same as for breakfast, pork skewers, meatballs, fried fish, grilled pumpkins (zucchini), spaghetti, rice, mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, safrid (scad) canned, fruits, buns, drinks are the same , as for breakfast, plus sweets and more (see photo).
Leisure.

In the evening, after dinner, we sat in a group on sun loungers near the pool with beer and safrid (horse mackerel) or something stronger, who likes what. Music from the lobby bar did not let us get bored. Take a jacket for the evening, the climate is very humid. We also visited various establishments on the subject of national cuisine. We recommend near the Penny supermarket, across the road from the BISTRO pirates. It’s cheap and there is both very national cuisine and European, if you want mussels, then on the same side is the Memory restaurant opposite the Nobel hotel (don’t take anything else there, it’s very simple for a restaurant, and the price is “joyful”). Not a bad restaurant of Serbian cuisine behind the hotel "Nobel" from the sea, open until 23-00. In all establishments, they were asked to indicate only national cuisine in the menu, and then they chose whatever they wanted.
Near the hotel is the UNESCO-listed town of Old Nessebar. In the direction of Nessebar, you can walk along the coastline - 15 minutes or by bus number 1 (Solntsev bryag-Nessebar) to the final one in 15 minutes plus waiting for the bus, price 1 lev, as well as by shuttle bus on foot. In Old Nessebar, there are shops on the first floors of all buildings, restaurants along the fences from the sea. We visited Calypso and took shark, mussels in batter and safrid (see photo) tasty but not enough. In addition, the waiter fooled on potatoes with cheese. I included it in the bill, but I forgot to submit it, saying that three sticks of french fries in all plates are the same potatoes with cheese. For this, they demanded local brandy (free of charge, that is, for nothing), brought it. Also, for a change, you can go to Burgas, there is nothing to see there except for the big pier, especially for people with their own beaches and piers located on them, you will not be surprised by this, but if you want to visit shops and malls, then you are there. You can get to Burgas by regular bus, see that the end point is Burgas (see photo with the schedule), the ticket price is 6 lev. If you want to go to the mall, at the same terminal you are looking for a bus with an inscription like "free to the mall", it goes once every 30 minutes.
Food in Burgas is much cheaper than in Sunny Beach, the restaurant in the lane adjacent to the main street turned out to be an excellent "Adonis" (see photo). At all bazaars and outlets leather jackets from 100 dollars. USA, as you understand, there is only one successful fasanchik for this money, and everything else is from the 90s. And furs and fashionable kurtyakhs are at the same price as in Ukraine.
As a leisure activity in Sunny Beach, you can ride along the coast on an open tram-train-bus for 3 leva. In New Nessebar there is a market with souvenirs and a supermarket "Mladost", we bought Bulgarian cosmetics there, cheaper than at the market, and it's better to take a drink in "Penne" (the store is located on the border between SB and Nessebar, next to the hotel on the territory of which there is a large children's Pirate City, when traveling by bus or a paramotor train towards Nessebar you will see red) if you plan to take rakia, then according to a survey of staff and local residents, Pecherska is the best from the real price. I lay back” 0.7 - 9 lev, they also praise “Burgaska 63” it is a little more expensive (more intense taste). The wine is very simple, compote type.

If you plan to visit the SB center, then take bus number 1 (towards Golden Sands) or walk to the Kuban Hotel and turn towards the sea - this is the center.
Have a good rest, new impressions and the opportunity to visit a resort no worse than Bulgaria at least once a year!! !
