Great vacation! Haven't regretted choosing this hotel for a second! Due to the location of the hotel in the northern part of the resort, the rest was calm and quiet (which is what I wanted). If you want entertainment - 10 minutes on foot and you are in the thick of things.
Amazing view from the window to the sea, especially from the top floor! Falling asleep-waking up to the sound of the waves - beauty!!
The room is spacious, new furniture, plumbing in good condition. Daily cleaning is of high quality, for tips there are also swans / flowers from towels on the bed 
We didn't use the mini-bar as it was very unprofitable.
In the bathroom, shampoos, gels, paper, towels - everything was updated in a timely and generous manner.
The balcony is large with table and chairs. In the evenings they drank alcohol, contemplating the sea.
The hotel has 2 elevators, which is very convenient.
Food NV.

The dining room is large, stylish (like the rest of the hotel, however), there was enough space for everyone. The waiters are polite and accommodating.
Breakfast is standard: muesli, croissants (delicious), buns, vegetables, fruits (2-3 types), cheese and ham cuts, omelettes, pancakes, sausages, coffee and milk are put on the table for everyone.
Dinner struck with variety: all kinds of vegetables, salads, fresh, juicy, first-class fruits (grapes, watermelon, melon, cherries, apples, pears, apricots, peaches, citrus fruits), meat 3-4 types of cooking + grill, fish, pizza, banitsa ( super! ), potatoes, rice, pasta, 2 types of soup, very tasty and numerous desserts, and what is unusual, ice cream! ! And the ice cream is really great and always four kinds. Drinks, of course, for an additional fee.
As well as themed evenings (Russian, Italian, etc. ) with dishes corresponding to these countries.
As soon as one of the delicacies was over, they soon brought a new one piping hot.
In general, losing weight in Iberostar is unrealistic, get better soon 
I didn’t even have a desire to visit cafes, the food at the hotel is so good.
I really liked the sea: clean, there is no such a sharp transition to the depth (as in Sunny Beach), a beautiful bottom, the absence of jellyfish. The beach is sand, but the sand is not fine, but coarse, mixed with pebbles and shells, it gleams simply charmingly! So the name of the resort is not accidental.
An important nuance: on the beach there are umbrellas with sun loungers in three rows. It's not free. Umbrella 6-7 leva. The bed is the same. Mattress - 3 leva. The course is 1 euro = 2 leva (roughly). You pay once and you can use it all day.
Most vacationers do not use these paid attributes. These people are located in the free zone (right by the sea, even before the start of the first paid line). They stick their umbrellas up and lie on their air mattresses/towels. Nobody touches them. The only thing is that you need to take free places early in the morning, because there are a lot of supporters to save now.

In general, the resort is not that big - about 4 km long. In the evening, people walk along the promenade. There is an abundance of cafes, all kinds of attractions, shooting galleries, casinos, discos, etc. , etc. But still, it is felt that the focus of the resort is more family than youth. For young people, paradise is Sunny Beach. And here everything is more decorous and respectable (as far as it is possible in Bulgaria).
In terms of food, I advise kavarma, banitsa, local beer Shumensko and Zagorka from drinks. Prices in restaurants do not bite, although they differ (everything is cheaper on the second line). By the way, the same applies to supermarkets. Right behind Iberostar (between it and Morsko Oko) you can find a Li-Di supermarket with great prices.
A lot of Russians are now resting on Golden Sands. But of course, the Germans still hold the palm.
Summarizing the above: if you need a relaxing holiday, quality service, maximum sea and minimum noise - you are in Iberostar! We chose between Iberostar and Astera (a new hotel, also 4 stars, but not a network one). We walked near it, it stands in a very busy place, and even a casino and a disco are stuck to it. If you hang out, then she's probably good. But we pursued other goals, and Iberostar satisfied us in all respects! So think about your priorities and make the right choice.
