To be fair, the hotel is terrible. I have not been worse anywhere (Egypt, Turkey, Bulgaria, Abkhazia). But the cost of the rooms is 25 euros per night for a single. What can you want at such a price, especially in a VERY EXPENSIVE for tourists Cuba? Just, probably, you should not spoil your vacation with such a hotel. Of course, you can say that you shouldn’t sit there, but after reading what I wrote below, you will understand why I still don’t advise you to go to this hotel! Let’s start with the rooms: cockroaches run around the room from half a little finger, hot water is rare, more often just after lunch and before dinner, but again, not always. The rooms are old, but if you remember about the cockroaches, then this is nonsense. There is one 220V socket with a European plug, but in some rooms it does not function, there are no adapters. If you turn to the staff, then a security guard comes and screws the wires to your chargers))) The air conditioner is so noisy that it’s hard to fall asleep! The beach is terrible - Adler and Gelenzhik are resting. It is not cleaned, rubbish, glass, algae and shells are lying around. But always free. The hotel is located at the very beginning of Varadero. You can't walk to the city center! Taxi from 5 cookies (1 cookie = 1 euro). To get to any beach in Varadero itself, pay 1 cuc. The food in the restaurant is not varied, if you expect at least Egypt then you will not get it. Or rather get, but not in this hotel. There is a shop near the hotel. The hotel has an exchange office. From entertainment: a bar near the pool, open until 6 pm, and a bar on the beach, where there is nothing but rum. And, in principle, the hotel has nothing but rum and beer. So expecting tennis or at least ping pong is not prudent. Who is the hotel for? For the Cubans who live there. The staff does not speak, of course, in Russian, but in English, almost too. After 5 days we moved to 4 * (Solymar chain Barcelo). 5 Egyptian. In the rooms: iron, hairdryer, free minibar, good air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, change towels, well, in general, etc. In short, do not believe the reviews about Oasis 2 * that this is a completely normal hotel.
