What do we post-Soviet citizens of Cuba - Fidel, rum, the treatment of our children, cheap girls, the ocean .....

I happened to visit this country thanks to a trip to a conference held by the company "LIFE" in March 2006.
Our path lay on the island of freedom through Amsterdam. We flew to Amsterdam on AEROSVITE in 2.5 hours, without even having time to drink whiskey (which is a pity). If we knew what would happen next, we would have gotten drunk in Kyiv : ) We flew from Amsterdam to Havana on a BOEING of the MARTINAIR company, I have never met a more terrible company in all my flights!! ! It was strictly forbidden to drink alcoholic drinks on board the plane (even those that we bought in Amsterdam in DUTIFREE), you could only drink drinks that could be bought on board - 3 euros for 25 grams of whiskey !!! ! They took our bottles from us with scandals, which we began to drink, and then they were not given back!
2. During the flight (about 10 hours) we were fed 1 time, and even then it cannot be called food - 3 ham sandwiches, a pack of cookies, beer or juice to choose from - that's all! The rest is for money!

And here's Havana! The airport is clean and well maintained. The first thing that catches your eye is the abundance of our cars - from kopecks to VAZ 2115 ! ! Have you ever seen a penny limousine? See you in Cuba!

A little about the hotel - we stayed at the "NATIONAL" - the best hotel in HAVANA. The territory is green, clean, the level is very good. There is only one pool, and it is open until 20-00, but we swam around the clock : ) Prices for a bar - RUM with Cola - 3 euros, Mojito - 4 euros - the prices are crazy, provided that a bottle of rum is 2 euros in hotels!
Havana is a clean city - I was very surprised, although the houses are old and old! Every morning I took a camera and just walked around the city - photographing landscapes. I was struck by the fact that there are no grocery stores, there are bazaars (fruits - a penny), there are no supermarkets - there are secondhands, there are pioneers and octobers !!! ! But photos of Fidel and Chigevara are everywhere!
A sightseeing tour - and you are in the flavor of Cuba - Soviet cars (KAMAZ, GAZ, VAZ), everywhere you are offered cigars, a little about cigars - at cigar factories from 3 euros per piece, and around the corner they are sold by students for 0.5 dollars! They steal them from factories, so think about where to buy! You cannot export more than 23 cigars, so choose where to buy.

A little about the hotel - the hotel is super, a large green area, there are 2 swimming pools, a sports ground, moped rental 12 euros for 3 hours.
The rooms are modern and nice!
There are 5 restaurants on the territory - Italian, European, Mexican and other cuisines. The food is very good. The beach is clean and the ocean is great!
You can get to the discos by taxi for 5 euros, they even managed to take the girls to the hotel.
We took all inclusive and did not think about anything!
I really liked the hotel.
