Rested with my husband from 12.05. 2008 to 24.05. 08.
Cuba is a fabulous place . . a place where you want to return all the time!!!
Some special atmosphere is felt as soon as you leave Havana airport, Jose Marti ..
The airport is calm, half empty. . you pass the border in 15 minutes, but this is probably the only high-speed place where everything is fast, because further you will meet beautiful, kind and smiling Cubans who are never in a hurry to go anywhere: )) "manano"
The road from the airport to Varadero . . about 145 km. the buses are comfortable, drive around in about 1.5-2 hours, stopping by a cafe on the way, where the pina colada cocktail was founded. bottle, no one will be offended))
and here on the way to the hotel, some sweet feeling inside. . 12 days of happy serene rest..
The hotel. . met all expectations..
the territory is amazing, everything is green, we had a room on the 4th floor overlooking the golf courses . . we didn’t regret it at all ...the view is beautiful . . the rooms are standard, but there is everything you need (coffee maker, hairdryer, scales, iron, ironing board, TV, soap foam and towels in the bathroom changed every day) the mini-bar was replenished daily, by 3 o’clock in the afternoon, if something was needed in the room and too lazy to go out, you just had to dial the room-service number and they would bring you whatever you want... from breakfast to drinks..
the hotel works according to the All system, what can I say about the food . . everything is tasty and good, but you quickly start to miss your kitchen : )) plus, of course, that there is a very large selection of meat and fish ..
My husband and I were in Cuba for the second time, the first was last year 2007, in March. we have a rest, but for information . . it's hot)
for comparison...were the first time in 4 * Coralia playa de Oro . . mostly Canadians ..
