Rested on the island of Cuba - Varadero hotel 5 * Melia Varadero in the period from 13 to 28 February 2007. A trip to Cuba is a happy bounty-style trip to paradise, with the magical transformation of winter into summer, and us from cold-tongued to sun-kissed carefree tourists. Here from the very beginning surrounds luxury and comfort. Hall, striking in its size, exotic plants, gourmet cuisine and a magnificent pool. The hotel is located on the beachfront of Varadero, between the Sol Palmeras and Melia Las Americas hotels.

Rest is simply unforgettable. The room is luxurious with a view of the ocean, there is a safe, mini-bar, coffee maker, iron, ironing board, hair dryer.
Gorgeous ocean (stunning turquoise color, warm and very clean water, white sand). Humidity is high - things do not dry well. The air during the day is about 30, but because of the humidity it seems very hot. So we got an amazing Caribbean tan.

Very good cuisine..

They fed for slaughter, there was even a 24-hour restaurant where they would feed and pour any drink. European dishes and all sorts of treats that are unusual for us are prepared on the territory of the hotel. Fresh tropical fruits - right from morning to night. Large selection of cocktails at the bar (Mojito, Pina Colada, Cuba Libero and many others). Just super yummy!!!

The animation is good. Everything happens in the style of the Latin American rhythm. There are a lot of opportunities for sports (diving school, aerobics, volleyball, football on the beach, aqua aerobics, archery, etc. ).
I also remember an unforgettable trip on a yacht: (at the first stop we swam with dolphins, then we stopped on the wild island of Cayo Blanco, coral reefs, caught lobsters, followed by eating. Insanely delicious!!!

Be sure to visit Havana. The city is mesmerizing. There are chic hotels and old communal apartments, in the yards of which grannies sit on rocking chairs and smoke cigars.
Separate delight about cars. An amazing historical city with ancient castles and squares. Of course, excursions are exhausting, but they are worth it. You will not regret it. The city is a fairy tale from the past centuries. Special thanks to the Russian-speaking guide Ronold.

Hotel Melia Havana is chic, the staff is friendly. The price includes a breakfast with an uncountable number of dishes and lasting until lunch. Regarding poverty and devastation, there are monuments that have survived through all the revolutions and they are beautiful. The people are kind but poor. Be sure to visit the famous bars where Hemingway visited.
I love Cuba! The flight is certainly long, but Cuba is worth it!!! ! INCREDIBLE BEAUTY, EXOTIC, OCEAN!

Without Pina Colada, lobsters for lunch and meringue for afternoon tea, existence loses all meaning ...Believe me, those who have slowly sipped mint "Mojito" or sugary-sweet "Cuba Libre" will not be able to forget these tastes.
They will haunt, you will dream of them, you will miss them...

P. S. Dear, if you have the opportunity, be sure to visit the Island of Freedom! Impressions for a lifetime! You will not regret it!! !
