Do not trust anyone, you should definitely fly to Cuba at least once in your life, and if you decide, then you will definitely love it the way I do)))! This is the country of rum, fun with the smell of fragrant cigars. It’s definitely not worth flying here for chic service and a personal approach, but if you love fun, as I love it, then this country is the right place for you on vacation. I'll go over the points a bit. The most important thing, why we flew, is entertainment and the ocean. I have never seen a more beautiful beach and ocean in my life. Water shimmers with all modulations of blue, turquoise and blue! The water is clear at almost any depth you can see the bottom. It even has its own small reef with fish. On the beach you can take a free kayak or catamaran for half an hour. The sand is fine, fine, white and fluffy, I have never seen such beauty of the beach even in the Dominican Republic. There are no algae, the beach is constantly cleaned, there are a lot of free sunbeds, anytime and anywhere. The second is, of course, entertainment. Bus stop next to the hotel. We went almost every day to the center of Varadero to the clubs, and from there we returned to the hotel by taxi almost in the morning. Been to many establishments, and never in the same place. Everyone liked it, each in their own way. In the hotel itself, the animation is unobtrusive, in the evenings they hold shows in the amphitheater, they only went to the Michael Jackson show, it was interesting and colorful. After the show, discos were held, but we liked to relax in the clubs more. The hotel itself, like most scoop-style hotels in Cuba, is not new, but differs in cost. T The territory is huge and well-groomed, not buried in greenery, but there are more than enough places for walking. There are enough bars, excellent and smiling bartenders everywhere, they make excellent cocktails, if you give a little tip several times, then the service improves significantly, respectively, and the taste of cocktails and the quality of the ingredients of the cocktail itself))). The same attitude of maids and waiters, do not expect a reaction the first time, but from the second third, improvements are immediately noticeable in both cleaning and service. Tipping is loved everywhere, but Cuba is not a rich country, and tourism is almost the main income of the local population, so this is quite expected. With the right approach, we got excellent service and excellent cocktails. The food is varied, but the Cubans do not know how to cook meat, except on the grill. We ate only at the restaurant on the beach. Here we just ate delicious meat straight from the fire, or huge juicy shrimp. Seafood, which I'm just crazy about, was always enough in the main restaurant. We only went to breakfast a couple of times, because we often returned to the hotel closer to the morning. As a result, our "breakfasts" were held at lunchtime in a beach restaurant))). There is also a snack bar in the hotel, which is open around the clock. There you could drink a cocktail and have a snack with some fast food. I can only say one thing about the rooms, you should not pay anything extra at the hotel, since the rooms in all buildings are almost the same and in the end you will get the same room, but with a surcharge. Cleaning is so-so, we did not go to the balcony, but the towels were changed regularly, and bottled water was in the room daily. Periodically, something broke or leaked, but after a call to the reception, it was greased, glued, and thanks for that. If you do not find fault with trifles, and do not sit in the room, then you will have a rest, at least, chic!! !
