Having flown for 12 hours, I wanted to relax, take a shower, but in return a very "fun" holiday began. We sat at the reception for 8 hours!!! ! Arguing this by the fact that check-in is at 16.00 (and we arrived at 8.00), and our room is not ready yet and wait for 16.00. This is, of course, a shortcoming of the PEGASA tour operator, since the time of arrival and check-in is inconsistent, but more on that later. One might have thought that PEGAS was to blame, but while we were sitting at the reception, everyone was being settled! ! everyone but us! Canadians, Germans, Cubans were all given room keys except us Russians!! ! If the check-in is at 16.00, then why are others settled in?? ? Unable to endure such disgusting, we demanded a Russian speaker and they brought us a guy who was relaxing in that hotel. he advised us to call the PEGASA representative in Varadero. She didn’t really answer all our indignations and demands to come and help us and said that there was no way to come and figure it out yourself and advised to wait until 16.00, and the arrival time was not agreed, since the night flight is the cheapest. In other countries where we rested with Pegasus, all representatives of this tour operator were on the side of vacationers and tried to help them, but here it's the other way around! We were settled at 16.00, thank God, in a normal room, where everything was in working order.
After all this nightmare, we met other Russians, they waited 4 hours and they were given a room with a non-working air conditioner, the light in the whole room did not work and there was no hot water. Moved with grief in half to another room, but the situation there is no better. Hot water did not reach the 3rd floor, and they took a shower on schedule until the bulk of the people came from the beach.
In the future, our stay in Cuba was already ruined. Internet for money, water for money, it feels like you will soon go into your room and they will ask for money for going to the toilet. Water, as is customary in hotels, was not supplied, only after indignation to the representative of PEGASA, we were supplied with 1.5 liters of water for three people for 12 days. Further water could be collected in a bottle in the dining room, which smelled of bleach.

From our observations by all Russian vacationers in this hotel during this period, it seemed that Russians were not treated very well. They will pour wine in the bar, everyone except the Russian, in the dining room they will pour wine for the Canadian three times, and not a single one for the Russian. When these comments were conveyed to the manager, he could only say that 80% of Canadians are here and therefore they receive increased attention. And no one cares that flying from Russia is much more expensive and longer than from Canada, and because of the exchange rate, it’s not exactly cheap, and in our point of view, Russians, not Canadians, should be valued.
There are also 2 restaurants on site. Arriving at an Italian restaurant, they each brought 2 pieces of a loaf and butter on a plate (they probably have it like that), The last woman who was sitting at the table with us did not place the plate neatly and the loaves fell out of the plate onto the tablecloth, she laughed, took them in her hands and put them right there back to the plate where they were originally. Eyes popped up. Then we chose tiramisu from the menu for dessert. When it came time to serve it, the waiter brought ice cream, commenting that we only had 11 tiramisu and they were all Canadians next to the table, and you, please, eat ice cream. Of course, we are already used to this, but when I was eating ice cream, I came across an iron wire from an iron washcloth, which is used to wash dishes. Turning to the man who worked in this hotel (we often saw him on the territory of the hotel and apparently he kept order), he apologized a couple of times and said that this is how they wash the dishes. He approached the waitresses with this wire in their hands, they laughed and dispersed.
And after that you want to go to this hotel???? ?
