First of all, I want to say that I love to relax and it doesn’t matter where, I just like the sound of the sea and the air, and what’s in the room and I’m not too picky about food, but this time was special, because it was, albeit small, but honeymoon trip. Of course, it was not spoiled, because the main thing here is love, but I would never recommend Cyprus to anyone for this purpose.
So in order. We chose Ayia Napa because of the sandy beach and at least they did not fail in this. The sea was clean (except for the day after the rain, but no one is to blame here), very warm, but shallow, I don’t know if this is a drawback, I’m not a swimmer, it was normal for me to splash). Cyprus itself did not impress in any way, the nature is meager, the landscapes (with the exception of the area where there are mountains, closer to Paphos) are dull, they reminded me of Martian ones, everything is dry, there is no greenery, no grass, brown lands and solid wastelands, many abandoned hotels, pretty dirty. Forgive me, lovers of Cyprus, but this is a hole and a backwater.
About the hotel. We paid for a standard, garden view, but we were settled with a sea view, supposedly a hotel gift for honeymooners, and we would have been more happy with good wine)), but a gift horse, as they say)), we didn’t argue, even though the sea view they have a dubious one, the window opens onto the car parking near the hotel, then the road, then the buildings of all kinds of stalls, and only there you can see the sea about 50 meters away. But most importantly, it’s good that this very room was at the end of the building, because waterfalls were made at the entrance and the water in them stagnated, every time they turn it on, the stench at the entrance to the hotel is terrible, so if the room is above the entrance and nearby, I sympathize with those people)

They wrote here that there are ants, well, yes, they were, but very small, in our private houses they pester such people, but they are harmless and did not upset us)), the room is small, everything you need is there and we didn’t bother with it, anyway just to spend the night. The bed was one big, but in some rooms of the same category there were two side by side. Cleaning was kind of like daily and for the first couple of days I didn’t pay attention, but then it became obvious that they only change towels and make the bed, and figs with him, we are used to swimming and not dirtying the bed), although again 5 stars)
Nutrition. Everything is as always for breakfast, I had enough of everything and liked everything, but my husband is picky, doesn’t eat eggs, muesli flakes too, doesn’t like cottage cheese, oasyanka bee, etc. , so he choked on potatoes at home (well, what are we we call it with a peel) and sausages, on the 4th day I was already sitting gloomy at breakfast, craving meat))). There were no fruits yet, only canned peaches and pineapples, from fresh ones only melons and a couple of times watermelons, always green kiwi and several times grapes, I have not tried it. The fruits are disappointing. juices at breakfast from concentrate. For dinner, too, there seems to be a lot of things, but I liked them even less than breakfasts, because I myself cook well and love gravies, cream and tomato sauces, and here salmty without dressings, the meat is always dry. The fish was every day, but again, not interestingly cooked, as for me. There were always potatoes, rice, various meats, salads, fish, and desserts, they were the best, I love all sorts of creamy, creamy, airy ones, that’s what they were). My picky husband managed to overeat, although he said that it was not very tasty)
The territory of the hotel is not too big, but quite pretty, several pools, although all are small (1.40 is the deepest), everything is clean.
