We rested at the hotel with two couples, September 2015, we chose Cyprus. At first glance (if it is also blurred by Turkish standards) it will seem poor. This is especially true for all-inclusive, here it is a little specific. There are some items on the menu for an additional fee, the same applies to cocktails. Basically, you get used to it in a day or two.
The hotel is right on the beach by the sea, you may even get a sea view. But even if not, the numbers here are in order. Everything is clean, tidy, the necessary equipment (TV, air conditioning, hair dryer), though not new, but in good condition. Every day they left 1.5 liters of water, but if everything is included, you can take as much as you need.
The hotel borders on the neighboring one, sometimes it is noisy there in the evenings. What can not be said about ours, it is quiet here, those who wish go to bed. Youth as an option, you can go to the center, bus stops and taxis near the hotel.

The sand is clean, the beach is cleaned. Garbage and cigarette butts are a rare phenomenon, and then if strong waves wash ashore. An excellent idea with sunbeds, they are assigned to vacationers for the entire rest period. So you can come at any time and not worry about whether there will be a free place. Very carefully with a tan, the sun is deceptive here!
The food is excellent for us. There is also a dietary choice (oatmeal, rice, steam chicken), and fast food, who loves the usual french fries. Only there are a lot of seasonings everywhere, we are used to this, and families with children sometimes looked for a long time what to eat, there is no children's table. But there were magnificent themed evenings with cuisines of different nations. After Turkey, tea will be unusual, here it is brewed in teapots, and sometimes you have to wait. But the tea is delicious, fresh, there are several types and additives. Here coffee is not very, soluble powder.
Often locals or guests of neighboring apartments sunbathed by the pool, I don’t know if there is a paid entrance for them, or they just go for a swim... but there are always few places by the pool. There is one small paddling pool and a slide, not very big, but the kids have fun.
There are no particularly interesting places behind the hotel, restaurants, several shops… The promenade is not very long. But something else fascinated us. Literally tens of meters away there is an unusual surf station Volcano. Our husbands settled there on the very first day, they love this business, although before that they only read about windsurfing in books. The instructors did a good job, after three days the guys were already confidently conquering the wave. They also persuaded us girls, and believe me it's worth it! In addition to emotions from the waves, we got new friends in Cyprus and in several cities of Russia. A very sincere place where comrades of interest gather for years.
There was no time left for the excursion, and we were not particularly interested. Vacationers are cultural, the majority are Russians, but everyone behaves decently. Young people predominate, there are practically no aged people, and there are not very many children.

In general, we are more than satisfied with the hotel and the rest. Golden Bay hotel is not the cheapest and, in principle, corresponds to the declared level, if you close your eyes to minor flaws.
