Just returned from Cyprus. While the impressions are fresh, I will try to share. The chosen hotel was Palm Beach in Larnaca. Impressions from the hotel and the country are very positive! I'll start with the most important thing: the sea! The sea was just sooo warm. Even too, about thirty degrees. Perhaps this is due to the fact that in the entrance area after 70 meters there was a strip of stones 150 meters wide and water exchange took place to a lesser extent, so the coastal heated water did not change to fresh cool. I have repeatedly been to the Mediterranean Sea, but everywhere it was much cooler. For example, in Tunisia, which is to the south, the year before last, the water was about 20 degrees in June! Don't compare at all. The beach near the hotel, as elsewhere in Cyprus, is public, so whoever you want can come in. But sunbeds are free, which was a pleasant surprise. Sunset on five with a minus. The first two meters are unpleasant stones, but then a very gentle sandy passage of 50 meters. And only further does the depth begin.
Also loved the pool. It was not huge and boring as it happens in Turkey, Egypt and even the Dominican Republic. But I really liked the depth difference from 1.5 to 2.5 m. If you want to dive, if you want to swim under water at a depth, or if you want, just stand in shallow water and drink a cocktail. On my personal list, this is just the perfect pool.
The room is the most common standard. We naturally have a double bed, an old 14-inch cube TV, a mini-bar with paid drinks (we naturally laid them out and put ours to cool), a normal bathroom. Most importantly, everything is very good and often cleaned. Clean and comfortable, but no frills. Is that a huge balcony overlooking the pool. But it's a treat for lovers.

Meals took breakfast. Breakfast + lunch cost 16 thousand more for two. Since we would have to have dinner anyway somewhere outside the hotel, we decided that 2 thousand rubles for lunch for two is somehow too much, and even in expensive Cyprus we can dine cheaper. In principle, they coped with the task. Leaving the hotel, there are a lot of places to eat right in front of you. Out of fear, we first ate at KFC. It is naturally more expensive there than here. Traditional chicken wings, a zinger, some potatoes and a couple of glasses of cola cost about 16 euros. One and a half times more expensive than in Moscow. But it was still three times cheaper than dinner at the hotel. Then they began to go to a restaurant with a KEO sign directly opposite the exit from the hotel. Keo, this is apparently beer, but the restaurant is called something else. Here you could really overeat with one mushroom puree soup for 4 euros. Amazing pork skewers with potatoes and salad cost 11 euros. We easily fit in 25 euros for two for each meal. If only my husband didn't drink beer. . .
One way or another, we did not regret that we took breakfast. Moreover, the breakfasts at the hotel were far from outstanding.
