If you are a lover of a relaxing holiday, then Larnaca is what you need. We've only been here for a week. But we managed to visit almost everywhere on this island. Since we are not fans of walking "herd" for a guide, we decided to rent a car. The savings are obvious! One excursion per person costs about 25-30 pounds, while the car cost us 60 for four days + petrol 30 pounds. Rights approached Russian new sample.
I liked the hotel, good food (breakfast), polite staff (English-speaking, only one receptionist spoke Russian), rooms are cleaned every day, from the minuses: 1) the beach, unlike the rooms, it is not cleaned so often and it is just small, sun loungers stand close to each other and they must be occupied in advance; 2) the view from the room was not on the sea, but on the city and the mountains, construction is underway nearby, so heaps of sand do not interfere with walking, but they spoil the view, and plus the rear view of the facades of second-line hotels is not always presentable. In general, considering that we only spent the night at the hotel, everything was fine. If you take a car, then it is better to eat in the nearby villages, everything is cheaper there and the portions are larger))). My husband and I then began to order one for two or children's portions))). I didn’t like Ai-Napa, although the beach is excellent, the sea of ​ ​ nightclubs, but a lot of crazy young people running around on ATVs, bikes, etc. Most of all I liked the sea in Protaras, but there prices for hotels are higher.
According to the assurances of the locals, the Palm Beach Hotel, the best in Larnaca, all nodded their heads in admiration when we said where we were staying. It’s better not to use a mini-bar - buy it in a supermarket across the road, it will be cheaper, the TV shows our first channel and don’t lose your beach towels! Have a nice holiday!
