Economy class hotel. There are two swimming pools on the territory: for adults and for children. Which, however, did not interest me at all (why the pool, when the sea is nearby). Breakfasts are monotonous: two types of cereal, scrambled eggs, beans, fried sausages and ham, two types of bread, ham, two types of cheese, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, drink, jam, butter. There was enough food, only for 2 weeks the monotony of breakfasts got a little tired. The staff does not speak Russian, so it is advisable to stock up on a set of elementary English phrases. The maids are not diligent. The garbage, of course, was removed, but for example, the mirror was not wiped even once in 2 weeks. Linen was changed 3 times in 2 weeks. Moreover, the first time a week after the settlement. Then a day later, for some reason, they again brought a change of linen and towels. From the words of the maid, it was difficult to understand that she was asking to change the linen on her own tomorrow, since she would not be there. The next change of linen was also put on a chair for us to cover ourselves. . Having settled in the room, we found that for three adults we have two beds and one sofa, which also turned out to be broken. We had no problem replacing the sofa with 2 rollaway beds. The hood on the stove didn't work. In general, everything is fine, if you do not pay attention to the little things. After all, this is only three stars, and we go on vacation not to sit in a hotel. To the sea 5-7 minutes on foot. You just need to cross the road at the traffic lights. Near the hotel there is a good PAPAS store where we bought groceries. Nearby is a very good cafe SANTA MARIA, in which we enjoyed eating seafood.

At check-in, a young man thoughtfully suggested that we pack and hand over the baby stroller, CAM offered us the seats we wanted to ask him for - a row near the partition (10th row).
Seeing that we were with a small child, strict aunts in front of passport control sent us to register through the "Business Hall". We went through everything in three minutes, and almost turned into the “for white people” hall, but were politely redirected to the “people's”... It's nice when they talk to you so politely at the airport, especially since this happens extremely rarely. . .
The aircraft "Transaero" - "Boeing" in excellent condition (visually). Cute stewardesses. A charming lady worked with us, whose eyes were very reminiscent of the sea in that part of the world where we, in fact, flew - a bottomless blue sea...
The only thing that strained the whole flight was the moment when one mother with a child tried to go to the toilet between the business class and the class for thinner people, like us, then the flight attendant VERY rudely put her out, saying with an arrogant face: “Here are toilets for business -class! Yours is at the tail of the plane! ” and blocked their passage with a food cart.
Rudeness, however, to remind passengers that they are “not white people” here, especially a woman with a child... Then the employees of the Transaero company need to block the aircraft business toilets properly, so that no one will... Well , Do you understand me. . .
There were only four people flying in business class: a man with his wife and their two children. . . The plane would not have rolled over if a woman with a child from "economy class" went to the "business class" toilet. . . If only they had turned around politely. . . Why be rude?!
Transaero companies - minus one point for personnel education! For reference, if suddenly they read this report and decide to flare their employee ShG: flight number 926.07. 08.09. at 10.20 from the airport "Domodedovo". Who worked there in the "business class" that day, eh?!
Larnaca Airport. It was nice to get out of gloomy Moscow under the hot Cypriot sun. + 32 Celsius. Cypriot border guards are smiling and friendly. Almost all the checkpoints were open, so we slipped through the control, we didn’t even notice how... The plane was unloaded instantly. 15 minutes after landing, we already received our little things. We approached the counter of "Natalie Tours", found out the number of our bus. The airport is small, close to buses. We sat down, let's go... On the way, we were given all kinds of advertising "persimmons", put on an information cassette, on which there was quite a lot of informative information about Cyprus, and it was more fun to look around...
Hotel "Jasmine" met unfriendly. The uncle at the reception gave us the keys to the room and said through the Natalie Tours guide: “This room is only for one night! Tomorrow we will move you to your room! The mood was peaceful, Cyprus was warmly received, so I didn’t want any conflicts... I decided to see what they offer there... I went up to the third floor.
We ordered an apartment with a kitchen, but we were offered one room with a double bed and a playpen. I went down (the hotel guide had already left) and asked at the reception: “Where should I put my second child?! ”. He again began to mutter that it was for one night... To which I told them extremely harshly that, apparently, they "ate fish soup" and I need MY number! Keys firmly placed on the reception desk meant the end of the conversation.
After a couple of minutes of some fuss and negotiations of people at the reception, we were offered a room on the 1st floor (room No. 05), which I liked MUCH more, and in fact it was the expected apartment... First floor? ! But with a stroller, it’s more convenient to roll out into the street from there... We stopped there...
Maybe the gentlemen from Natalie Tours should wash the owners of this hotel a little bit, so that when tourists from Russia check in, the reception staff would not try to make false contacts with the Moscow vacationers and “chemize” with the rooms?!
The room is good. Everything works. The air conditioner in the living room is new, with climate control, worked well. An antediluvian “General” is installed in the bedroom, which could not be controlled in any way. The first night I put it on “FAN” and after a couple of hours we went nuts from stuffiness... Then I put it on “cold” for the night and slept under the covers, almost like under a blanket. Like at home. . .
The kitchen is comfortable. Refrigerator, stove and grill - working. The fridge is small but spacious. They didn’t use the grill, but periodically cooked all kinds of different food on the stove - pasta potatoes... On the same day, for the arrangement of the household, they bought a large oriental knife, a couple of rags, a kitchen towel, Prill detergent and hooks hang all this kitchen stuff. . .
Ants appeared in the kitchen after a couple of days. Tracking their path, I realized that they were climbing out from under the sink. In "Papas" I bought a large bottle of "Izekill" for two euros and the whole kitchen was "spilled" with it. No more ants appeared. . .
The hotel area is small and very cozy. . . Nice clean deep pool. The service is very friendly and courteous. . . Cleaned almost every day, but the towels are changed twice a week on Tuesday and Friday. . . Infrequently. . .
Nutrition. Breakfast is constant: bread, cheese, sausage/ham, olives, sausage/bacon omelet, muesli, strawberry/orange jam, tea, coffee, milk. Not rich, but there is plenty to choose from and burst.
There is no lunch. On one's own.
Dinner. The first is soup of the day. The second is meat / chicken with a side dish and salad.
Surprisingly, there was no choice. What's on the menu is what they bring. But EVERYTHING and ALWAYS (two weeks) was TASTY! I was still surprised: either we are so picky, or everyone already wanted to eat so much (although they always dined), or they cook really tasty... And I realized that after all, the last thing is delicious!
In the restaurant we were served by a charming girl who spoke a little Russian, always very sociable and friendly... We were absent from dinner one day when we went to Ai-Anapa, so the next day she asked where we had disappeared, she thought that we left. . .
Supermarket "PAPAS" is located at a distance of 100 meters, if you go to the left from the exit of the hotel. From the near corner there is a wonderful bakery, no worse than the legendary "Sigma" - there you can stock up on wonderful sweets and pastries, but in such heat you didn’t really want to. The main supermarket is from the far corner of the same house. . . The choice is very good, the prices for many goods are lower than in Moscow, or so it seemed to me. . . EXCELLENT milk in red bottles!
Fruits vegetables? ! I expected better. Watermelons, nectarines, peaches, tomatoes, cucumbers are practically Moscow quality, and you can even buy better ones at Danilovsky market. . .
We went to the beach in this way: we went around the Pizza Hut on the left, passed through the parking lot to the sea, went out to the embankment and stomped along the path to the RIGHT side for about five minutes. The place is exactly opposite the Dizzi Bizzi cafe. We found the entrance to the water there, where there are practically no stones - only sand, it is very convenient for children. You sit in the shade under the trees, there are very few people...
I recommend to go swimming after dinner, at sunset. . . Very beautiful and cool. . .
Hanging around the city visited the Museum of the Old Port (www. apacy. com). Such a curious souvenir pavilion with a lot of all sorts of interesting and funny gift stuff. . .
For those who are curious about “strawberries” in my personal, I can tell you that I didn’t find the “red light district” in Limassol, though I didn’t really look for it, but during my wanderings around the old city and trips around the city in general, I didn’t find anything like that . . Sorry, but "seekers of sweet adventures" can hardly help in this matter. . .
Of the only unpleasant thing that I would like to note after walking around the city is the insane amount of Russian-Khokhlyat provincial cattle, especially on the streets in Limassol. Apparently, having bought a hut or a five-star ticket there, these peppers believe that they grabbed luck by the balls and behave accordingly... Parking a car across the sidewalk, entering a store with a can of beer, cursing and neighing like horses is in the order of things. . . There is enough of this gheking herd in Moscow, but there they are simply uncounted... Well, oh well... Let's not talk about sad things...
I would like to note the following moment. . . A few days after arrival, our youngest child had a small diarrhea. Without thinking twice, they called the insurance company, explained everything, agreed. They promised to send a doctor. After 45 minutes, such a pretty aunt-doctor Andrulla Stefanu entered the room, speaking good Russian (tel. 25353533). Very sociable and positive. The child examined, said that it was from climate change and water, wrote out another food and said where you can buy it... On this we parted. She said that in a couple of days she would come to visit us again, which she did...
On this day in Cyprus was the national holiday of the Assumption. All businesses and shops were closed. I went outside, caught a taxi with a very cheerful, talkative and sociable Cypriot taxi driver. In my middle school English, I explained the problem to him and we drove around Limassol - to look for a pharmacy working on a holiday... He immediately began to call on his cell phone to some help desks, make inquiries on the radio, in general, started a frantic search for a pharmacy. As he explained to me, out of THREE pharmacies that should work today, only ONE is working, so we’ll go to it now... We arrived, bought everything and moved back... In general, all these rides cost me 17 euros, well and, essno, I added to the taxi driver for the care. . . Wonderful, sympathetic person!!!
Restaurants:
Seville (Americana Street, Shop 23, Lordos River Beach) - nothing fancy, simple street eatery with restaurant prices. They didn’t take meze, but took: Seafood in the shell (8 euros), Moussaka (11 euros), Stifado (11 euros), Kleftiko (13 euros) and some of their specialties... Expensive and not very tasty... Not inhaled. . .
"Santa Maria", "Kebab House" and other establishments did not go, because it did not happen...
"China Palace" (www. chinapalace-cy. com) is a Chinese-Thai restaurant. We have been to this restaurant several times! Prices are lower than in other establishments for national Cypriot dishes and they cook very tasty! We were served by an absolutely charming blonde girl Anya, as it turned out later, from Riga. I have not seen such high quality and helpful service for a VERY long time in any restaurant, not only in Cyprus, but also in Moscow. . .
In order not to be smart, we rented a car at the office of the Trithty company closest to the hotel (www. thrifty. com. cy), on the corner of the street, opposite Pizza Hut. A pretty woman takes care of the cars there, who arranged everything for us in five minutes.
We took the Opel Corsa 1.2 for 34 euros per day + 7 euros for a child seat. It's strange, but the prices that they announce in their office are somewhat different from those indicated on their website... Marketing, damn it... Their franchise, as I understand it, is 600 euros... a bit too much... yes and fuck with her. . .
We bought a VERY detailed map of Cyprus (blue cover) in the nearest souvenir shop, which has all the roads and nooks and crannies + detailed maps of cities, at a price of 4 euros. And we decided: tomorrow morning - on a trip...
They drive on the left, as in England, India or Japan. Cars are right-handed, unusual at first... The main thing with such a movement is to learn the basic rule: you must ALWAYS go “passenger to the sidewalk” and everything will be fine...
In the morning at 8:30 the car was at the hotel, the keys at the reception. We went to the gas station. 35 euros - a full tank and rushed off. First, we moved towards Cape Gata - we wanted to see the cat's monastery... We swept along the salt lake along the sea and ran into the fence of an English military base. How many did not look for a passage further - it is not there...
We moved further along the map to Kourion, where we visited the local museum. Very curious and informative. But the main thing is the views that open in all directions! BEAUTIFUL!! ! Dear excellent, so we would go and go, which is what we actually did...
Ride towards the stone of Aphrodite. We swam there and decided to move on - to Paphos. We drove around the city for a bit, had a look. . . The old city is charming. Then we decided to go to Polis, to the baths of Aphrodite. I really wanted to take revenge for the unvisited Cape Gata and climb at least Cape Arnaoutis. On the way, we decided to look for adventures on our jeppa and just turned off the road in some place... We rode along mountain roads through villages with funny names: Choli, Scoli, Tera... - very nice and after a while again jumped out on highway towards Polis.
We arrived quickly and stopped for lunch at Costa's Corner. We were served by the owner himself, who offered us moussaka and lasagna. The portions are large, they cook VERY tasty and cheaper than in the establishments of Limassol. We talked with the owner, who told us that in Polis, Russians buy a lot of expensive houses. . . “Russian mafia! ” - as he said... In general, ours have already noted everywhere...
We ate and moved to Cape Arnaoutis. But here we were waiting for another bummer. We got to the baths of Aphrodite without any problems. We ran into a parking lot and a tavern. And then there is a serious country road, along which it’s simply impossible to drive to the Opel Corsa... We need a jeep... In jeeps, people dived onto this road quite briskly, but I decided not to risk it and didn’t poke my head further...
We returned to the beaches along which the road runs, and swam there. The water is much warmer and cleaner than in Limassol, but the bottom is large stones. It's hard to get in. Having bathed, we set off on our way back and, whether it was long or short, we reached our hotel.
The next day we decided to make a bigger voyage - to take the children to the donkey farm in Vouni. The journey was also quite funny, because we again drove along the main highway, and then turned off it and drove through Agios Georgios and other villages... Colorful... It's hard to describe - you have to see...
We got to the farm before it opened at 10:00. The farm is quite funny for children, but I was not particularly impressed. . . Although, the children really liked the donkeys and souvenirs on the farm (T-shirts, caps, key chains). . . I don’t fix the link - the site is under reconstruction, there is only the address: Limassol District; info@donkeysanctuarycyprus. org .
Then we moved to Troodos, walked there on the tourist square, bought some souvenirs and decided to rush to Agia Napa to swim on the sandy beaches and visit at least one cape - Cape Greco. The road goes almost to Nicosia, then turns to Larnaca, and then to Ai-Anapa. Gorgeous highway. In the area of the Nicosia industrial zone, the thermometer showed overboard 38.5 degrees Celsius. Gosha! The car ran like clockwork, the condo kept 22 degrees in the cabin exactly!
We stopped for lunch in the village of Ormidela (I can make a mistake with the spelling of the name). There, in the depths of this village, we found the only institution open at 16:00, such as a sports bar. How we were fed there - a delicious mix of barbecue, moussaka, salad... For a FULL dinner for three - 30 euros - the budget...
The tourist areas of Agia Napa and Protaras are really our YALTA! Some multi-colored taverns, shops, hotels, attractions, idle people... A striking difference from the mountain villages... This is not Cyprus, this is an international tourist party... A sandy beach, which could be reached close to we never found a car, and everywhere where we could drive to the sea, there were SUCH stones that you couldn’t even approach the water... Well, we are teapots, you need to know the places...
We found the way to Cape Greso, but there were also solid stones there, so swimming again is a bummer! Although it is VERY beautiful, VERY. . . The sea around you is 240 degrees and white yachts stand in the bays. . . "Oh, how romantic. . . ! " (from)
In general, after all the rides and glances, the day passed, it was time to move back home... Yes, the Cypriot tracks at sunset, and especially their comparison with our Russian roads, and with everyone else, evoked very sad thoughts about Motherland. . .
Half of the next day was devoted to a visit to the Watermania water park ( www. Fasouri-Watermania. com ). Cute, funny for children, but somehow a little expensive... Slide a little. There are simply no really cool and scary ones. And the prices... Adult ticket - 28 euros, children - 16. Expensive. A much cooler water park in Lorett de Mar near Barcelona costs TWO times cheaper... And tickets to Port Aventura, as far as I remember, were also cheaper... Well, okay, the children had fun, swayed on the waves, squealed under "Mug" - and that is joy! 
That's like everything. Two more days of swimming in the sea and it's time to fly back. Two weeks flew by like one day. . .
On the day of departure, we were picked up from the hotel exactly on the clock - minute by minute. We collected everyone at the hotels, drove to the airport, threw off our clothes, boarding had already begun... Everything was fast, clear, great!
We got on the plane... We sat down... Pa-a-flyed...
Airport "Domodedovo" met with gloomy clouds and + 11 degrees "heat"... Hello, damn it, Mole...
