They started planning the trip last year, friends suggested going to Turkey, but when I looked at the prices for tours there, then my friends told me that they only sit near the hotel, and I also need to take all-inclusive, I thought that I might not have food like it, but you have to eat it. The hairdresser told me what she liked about Cyprus, read about this country, looked at the prices, besides, the hairdresser had a good friend at the travel agency, contacted her, they sent us vacation options in Turkey and Cyprus for comparison. I liked Cyprus more, only at first I wanted to choose Paphos, but there the beaches are rocky and it takes a long time to get from Larnaca airport, I read about Protaras that it is calm and beautiful there, the beaches are good. We chose the Captain Pier hotel because it is budget friendly and close to the sea. The only thing that bothered me was that Pegasus had this hotel, I was afraid to fly with this company, because I read that flights are often delayed and the attitude is not very good. The flight was really delayed to Cyprus for two hours, and in our city the conditions at the airport are terrible: the seats are not comfortable, everything is very expensive in the cafe, you can’t buy magazines, they are sold only at the entrance. The flight back was delayed for 5 hours, they were supposed to take off at 19.20, and as a result, they sat on the plane for more than an hour, the flight attendants counted everyone several times. I would like to note the good work of the Pegasus guides during the meeting and departure home. We were all told in detail where you can return the tax for purchased goods in Cyprus, where the registration will be, etc. We liked the tax free shops at Larnaca airport, but there was not enough time to buy something that you need to choose.
Now about the trip to Cyprus itself. We flew to Cyprus on August 19, at 2 pm, and reached the hotel in the evening, while everyone was taken to their hotels. The room they gave us was better and more than what we paid for. One room with air conditioning, the other without. There were three of us, so my brother, who slept in the living room, was hot. Give out a fan for 2 euros per day if needed. Safe at the reception, 2 euros per day. The sea view from the room is excellent. There is a table and chairs on the balcony, it is very pleasant to dine there. In the evening, a pleasant breeze, not hot. The room has a stove, dishes, you only need to buy sponges for washing dishes and soap. Shampoos etc. also bought them. The hotel has billiards, you need to throw a coin of 1 euro and take a cue and an administrator. The sea is nearby, the beach is sandy, very convenient for children. Local Cypriots come to this beach every evening. For nutrition. We took only breakfasts, at first they are more or less normal, and then they get bored: bright pink sausages (people, don’t feed your kids with such food! ), bacon, olives, cake, coffee, tea, juices from the machine, different types of eggs ( scrambled eggs, boiled, scrambled eggs), some kind of cheese, obviously from vegetable oil. In this hotel it is better to take the system without food at all. Lunch and dinner can be paid separately. Our neighbors praised our dinners, we never tried anything, which we regret. Once we ordered a pizza at the hotel (6.80 euros), but I didn’t like it: it’s small and stuffed with everything, but the taste is nothing interesting, I bake better. Dinner costs from 6 euros. The room is cleaned daily, bed linen is changed every 3 days. There are only 30 rooms, cozy and quiet. The furniture is old, but everything is clean, repairs have been made recently, only the air conditioners are clearly rarely cleaned. Clean pool, nice staff, there is a Russian-speaking girl Svetlana, and it is desirable to know English, because few people speak Russian in the hotel and in the shops. There is a shop at the hotel, but the fruits there are very expensive, we bought them at Lidl. Figs and local citrus fruits are especially tasty. Avocados are huge. Near the hotel there are many cafes and restaurants, shops. Bus stop nearby. We went grocery shopping at "Lidl" - a local big supermarket, if you walk along the beach, it's not so hot, beautiful and faster. For shopping for souvenirs and clothes, it is better to go to Paralimni, by bus 101. The fare costs one and a half euros. Drive about 15 minutes. We drove to the final stop and walked into the city. You can find clothes of very good quality for only 9 euros, the choice of shoes is small. Toys are Chinese and very expensive, they did not find anything worthy of attention. Cosmetics are more expensive than ours. Spirits stand as in our "Letual". Beautiful handmade silver. The prices are reasonable: earrings from 10 euros, good discounts for gold in the Karats store. The bags are of very good quality and you can find favorable prices.
Hotel neighbors, also from Krasnoyarsk, rented a car for two weeks, traveled to many places on the island. It's not so expensive, prices are about the same everywhere, it's more profitable to take at least 4 days. We took an Opel for 4 days, it came out at a cost of 176 euros with a full tank of gasoline. You return with an empty tank, you can leave it at your hotel, the car will be picked up. In some firms more expensive and without gasoline.

Most of all in Cyprus I liked the sea, very clean, the air is beautiful, fruits grow: pomegranates, figs, oranges, everything smells so wonderful. Beautiful lovely churches, nice people. When our daughter is older, we will definitely return to this wonderful country.
