Traveled with my husband in September 2011. The weather was wonderful, the sea is just super - clean, sandy, warm. . . The hotel is very good for its four. Of course, there are some nuances - the hotel staff does not know Russian at all, except for the reception (there Elena and another girl know Russian well, in the restaurant one or two people also know Russian and one animator knows Russian, the rest do not at all. Another minus there are no signs in front of the meal, you don’t know what is there, you had to open everything in a row and look. There are no complaints about the cleaning of the room, they didn’t leave money. I really liked that the room has a kettle and mugs, sugar, tea, coffee and even sweets. The food was good but the soups leave much to be desired. . . All the hotel staff are very friendly, but it seemed to me that the Russians are still not treated as well as, say, the Germans or the British. There were a lot of elderly couples of foreigners, there were a lot of couples with children. Now I want to talk about excursions - we went to the Kykkos Monastery on the top of Mount Olympus. I liked the tour very much, it was not tiring, the food was good (especially try the lamb on the bone, you will lick your fingers - this is their local dish). On this excursion, be sure to purchase the local wine "Commandaria" very tasty - although a bottle costs 10 euros, but it's worth it, I didn't like the rest of the wines at all. They also took local vodka (moonshine) "Zivania", well, this is not for everyone. It is also worth taking natural cosmetics from olives (you will stop by the store). We also got a good guide - Odysseus. The monastery itself, of course, they have a chic, it's worth a look! So, we also went to the show of singing fountains, this is also worth a look. It is not necessary to take an excursion by yourself, you can take the bus from the hotel to McDonald's. I also highly recommend the aqua park, just a super place, grab an adrenaline rush for sure. It is interesting for both adults and children. We also traveled by local bus. As for souvenirs, there are no problems either, take the bus near the hotel and also go to McDonald's, there is a whole street of souvenir shops, you can just walk. And there for whiskey lovers, it's just heaven, it's much cheaper there than dutique. In general, have a good rest!
