modest Pascalia

We arrived from Pascalia a week ago. We went on half board. Not really expensive, but. . .
I want to make a reservation right away that we have been going on vacation for 15 years already, to Cyprus - the 2nd time. The first time they were also in treshka, in Limassol, Probably for this reason they did not even think about the existence of such treshka as Pascalia...
For many, I hope the information will be useful that 90 percent of the hotel is populated by Russians (compatriots), most of whom are all-inclusive. For many, from such a "paradise", unfortunately, the "tower" is blown away... The remaining 10 percent of the British often behave even worse. But this is not so important if you have a fifth floor with a great view (numbers four hundred are odd).

The hotel itself is quite, very good, a deep pool, everything is super in the room (it worked), I was especially pleased with the TV set, tk. You could watch it both from the loggia and in the room - a swivel bracket. During the World Cup is quite relevant. The air conditioner is central, the temperature did not lower, but still it was better with him. Cleaning is good, but the Polish-Latvian team of "maids" had to regularly write notes asking them to finally bring shampoo or a towel...
In principle, a rather dreary and calm place. To the city center 25 minutes on foot, to flamingo beach -30, to figs three - 40. Those who write that yes the sea is 6 minutes are also right, but the beaches there are painfully miserable, they look like paddling pools.
Now about what spoiled the impression of the hotel: Dinner....A two-hundred-meter queue of unfortunate vacationers from 7 pm. Nothing, they came at eight. The picture is one and the same - people are waiting for something. The choice, so to speak, of the dishes was not just depressing - it was simply shocking! Firstly, the choice itself was practically non-existent! Salads - cabbage. The quality and appearance of the so-called. meat or so-called. the chicken was just awful. The hotel's super-economical policy. . . The backs and necks of chickens and the backbone of cows somehow gave mutton fat. . . For two weeks, tomatoes were given 3 times, and even then not ripe. Fish 3 times . . , you can continue, but you don’t want to... Fruits (especially watermelons and melons) were regularly not enough for everyone. Yes, and I remembered about the "desserts" - the same shapeless mousse of sweet rice with raisins, sprinkled with morning cereal and lightly tinted with chocolate sauce. Everything. The whole "refectory" looked just as "unfriendly". Instead of the so-called. decorations or spices (there was no ketchup, etc. , but only one greasy bottle with a mixture of olive oil and lemon juice) everywhere there are detergents and buckets for garbage. The unfortunate Latvians, sparing no effort, tried to keep it all clean. Indeed, the tables and cutlery were clean and it's no wonder if you're having dinner and half a meter away from you, "Mr Muscle" is flowing like a river. Of course, there is not enough staff, but I think the owners have conscience too. We had an early flight, ie. transfer without 15ti six. On the advice of our guide, the day before we went to the reception to order the so-called. Breakfast box....The answer was lengthy, that the "owner" does not like any butter, jams and packages in general . . and boxes. Our bewilderment was followed by an apology and advice to take (or buy) a bag of Nescafe at the bar, and brew in the room in the morning...
A few words about animation - shame and disgrace . .

Now, for the patient readers of my review, specific advice: 1) do not buy or rent adapters, but rather take plastic cutlery - stick them with a handle into the upper hole of the Cypriot outlet, thereby opening the lower ones for our usual charges or tees. 2) Do not buy anything in our duty-free - everything is available in the town and cheaper 3) Better stay in an international hotel, even better with breakfast only. 3) Protaras, a village, of course, nothing, but having traveled a couple of times to Ayia - Napa, we realized that we had miscalculated.
Everything positive from the rest is banal, as usual - a very, very beautiful and not even too salty sea. Clean, almost like in Croatia, the air. Very not expensive, by Moscow standards, restaurants and other establishments. Calmly.
