I was with my wife in 2014 in June for two weeks. We went abroad for treatment for the first time, before that we had only been in our sanatoriums. I must say right away that it is not the worst, but Karlovy Vary "Tchaikovsky" cannot be compared. A very good doctor, attentive and responsive staff, even to the rudeness of visitors, they observed this, only politely apologizes. There were no problems with the procedures at all, everyone speaks Russian, but the attitude is friendly, slightly unusual. We took an excursion to Switzerland on Saturday and Sunday, it’s a little hard for two days on the bus, but it’s interesting, it’s worth a trip once, especially since the rest in Karlovy Vary is really calm and if you are not very old, you want variety. And so we also traveled around the surroundings with excursions to Loket, Frantiskovy and Marianske Lazne. The town is small, there are a lot of people from Russia, the prices in the cafe are not weak, but you can try and find just indecent, our friends and I had dinner for four in a cafe for 600 euros, opposite the opera house, for "warm". Lots of souvenirs and watches. We liked the rest and treatment very much, we want to go this year as well.
